Today, I was telling my friends about a date I had recently that went badly, because the guy turned out to be a moron. I said the last straw was when I used the word "decipher" and was met with a blank stare. I was then met with more blank stares. FML

Maybe they were trying to…ummm…determine the meaning of what you were saying…to decode it, or something. I feel like there’s a word for it. Like it’s a cipher, and what they would want to do is almost…un-cipher it. Make it less cipher like. Eh, I’m sure it’ll come to me.
