If you don't continually act as pack leader, then another dog will take that "spot" from you ie, "survival of the fittest" per a pack's social order. The smaller the dog, the bigger the chip on its shoulder....

those little suckers can be viscous. I've owned 2 over the last 12 and a half years. My newest is a 1 year old Chihuahua. Got her in Feb a month after losing my Min-Pin-Chihuahua cross after 12 years

Time to train that dog! Cause of you don't do it now after you've been attacked, you deserve it even more! Every dog, also the small ones, needs to be trained!
