Today, while crying at my grandma's funeral, I was told to "man up". FML

Sorry for your loss. No matter how much of a man you are, crying at a funeral does not mean you're weak. Especially if it's someone close like a grandmother.

It's okay to cry, especially under these circumstances. Whoever tells you otherwise can go to hell. I'm sorry for your loss OP

You got my full support, last time I cried was at my grandmas funeral which was two years ago, I tried my best to hold it back but hey I loved my grandma

I'm sorry for your loss and sorry for you being surrounded by idiots. Men are absolutely allowed to have and use their feelings, too!

Who told you? Just punch them in the face. It's OK to cry at funerals, no matter who tells you you shouldn't

I regret not crying at my grandpa's my cousins is really judgey and they haven't cry at the hospital or at the funeral and they already made fun of my sister before the day of the funeral for crying so I stayed strong but now I wish I cried in the time period

So one person's actions make you hate 320 million completely unrelated people. Great logic there

I got so upset during my mom's funeral, I ran outside to collect myself. My dad's mom, one of my grandmothers, came outside and told me I was embarassing her before marching me back inside. If I hadn't been so out of it, I would've slugged her. Cry all you need to, don't listen to that asshole, you're not less of a man for crying.

that's sexist. cry if you feel like it, you're a human being and **** those people.

Heck, my dog died and I cried like crazy
