usually, in the UK anyway, you get a letter of dismissal as well as being told by your employer, it's just a fail safe, so you can't say you weren't told

most people work for families because you can work longer hours and if they do it right you don't have to pay taxes on your salary. I work for my mom. but then again I'm only 17
