Today, I was yet again chastised for using a wheelchair, since, "Obesity isn't a disability." I'm 46 with lipedema, and lost my ability to walk 13 years ago. FML

Blegh. So many people seem to think that the obesity came first and led to the wheelchair by default, when even discounting cases like yourself, being unable to walk has a tendency to make exercising to keep weight down Complicated at best. The world would be a lot better if judgmental jerks knew when to shove it.
