Today, my husband announced he’s no longer attracted to me and wants a divorce because I got a needed double mastectomy. When I reminded him of his wedding vows, “In sickness and in health” he said that he thought that meant “the flu or something, not this shit.” FML

OMFG that's awful, you made the right call going with the mastectomy. I've known people who try and use more targeted approach have it cost them their lives. Also, Federal law requires most insurance plans to cover the cost of breast reconstruction after a mastectomy. So this seems like an even more ridiculous thing to get caught up on.

I lost my wife to metastatic breast cancer back in 2019. I can tell you she was as gorgeous to me after her mastectomy as she was before. I hope you find someone who truly loves you not the piece of garbage you have now.

Ok. As a guy, i say, screw him, divorce him and take EVERYTHING! Then find a man (or woman) that treats you well. Your current husband is a piece of crap
