Divorce is rarely something that feels good, no matter who initiates it. But it can be for the better. Nobody gets divorced when the relationship is working. You have to put an end to something that isn’t working to eventually find something that does work for you… This is the start of a new beginning for both you and your friend. Don’t let your feelings rain on your friend’s celebration - I know that’s not easy… Trust in yourself that you will get through this and eventually be better off for it.
