Today, when I got back to my dorm, I found a trail of ants trying to shove a dead roach into a power outlet. The front desk insists that there is no pest problem. FML

Today, an exterminator sprayed for cockroaches in my dorm room. After classes I got back to find three large cockroaches on top of my bed. Now that the exterminator has sprayed everything, all the cockroaches are coming out. FML
Today, I walked out the back door of my place of employment and looked down to see a huge cockroach. This is quite a normal occurrence, so I thought nothing of it until I realized it was struggling to drag the corpse of one of its friends into the building. FML
Today, a colony of ants announced that they'd moved into my bedroom closet as I went to get dressed for work. FML
Today, I found thousands of ants in a secret nest in an unused corner of my apartment. They were feeding on the baking mix I forgot in a box from moving in two months ago, and the queen has been laying her eggs on my wireless router. FML
Today, I found out that my new roommate likes to put candy on the floor, let ants crawl all over it, and eats it. Ants and all. FML
Today, I found a New Year's surprise: a cockroach in my kitchen drawers. FML
Today, I got up, curtains still closed, and in the dim light noticed something dark on the floor, which wasn’t there yesterday. I turned on the light to find out what it was. A tiny ant hill. FML
Today, I came back to my apartment to see that my roommate had left out bread, deli meat, and cheese on the counter, so I made myself a sandwich. When she came back, she informed me that she found bugs in the fridge and took out all the food she thought would be contaminated. FML
Today, my roommate showed me a video of a cockroach crawling all over my face while I was asleep in the lounge. FML
Today, while I was standing in the elevator with a few people I just met when I moved in yesterday, I felt something fall on my hair and dusted it off. It was a cockroach. None of them will come within a 1m distance to me now, because they all think I've got lice. Welcome to the building! FML

Didn't you know roaches are what power the outlets? And the ants are the only things small enough to install them into the outlets for you??

Well, that's a bit odd... looks like to me ants are living in the walls and you got roaches also... have an exterminator come in by your own means or show them a pic of what's going on...

**** exterminators. My buddy lived in some crack den like place and the roaches were huge. We dealt with em with a bottle of axe body spray and a lighter. I am not recommending this..or am I liable for your dorm catching fire, but it sure is fun.

At least the ants are taking care of the roaches.... Both are awful to have, roaches are worse in my opinion though.

Try cleaning up the place a little more thoroughly. Don't leave your food laying around and the bugs should disappear. If that doesn't work have professional help like an exterminator.

I'd call someone higher up than the front desk. Sounds like someone is just being lazy and doesn't want to bother calling. Might want to provide documentation for proof as well.

When I lived in florida, I learned that cockroaches can fly. I had one in my house, even my fearless australian cattle dog who would normally kill a bug when he sees one, was freaked out.

This when you make up some sugar solution and spray a trail all the way down to reception. I'd spray extra thoroughly on the receptionists chair too!
