Wise kid
Today, I had to give my four year-old daughter some tough love, which I hate doing. When she ran away crying, my son, her twin brother, looked at me and said, "You should be ashamed of yourself." FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, a 4 year-old saw me and started crying and screaming like heck. I mean, I knew that I didn't look good, but this is too much. FML
Today, my mother looked me dead in the face and said, "I have failed as a parent." FML
Today, while picking my daughter up from school, I saw her being beaten by two boys while the teacher stood there doing nothing. I ran to help, but then she pushed one of the boys off her. The teacher then pulled her away, yelled at her and then yelled at me for "not raising my kid right." FML
Today, my 8-year-old son told me to grow a pair and man up. FML
Today, I came home from work to my 4-year old daughter cussing left and right. I asked her about it; she said that her brother had taught her some words. When I confronted him about the situation, he kicked my shin and screamed, "Stop treating me like a fucking child!" He's 5. FML
Today, my 4-year-old daughter stood up to a bully in the mall. I was the one who was getting bullied. FML
Today, as I was taking my three year-old daughter home from daycare, she asked where her daddy was. I tried to tell her that I was her father, but she answered, "No, not you! My other daddy!" I've got some talking to do tonight. FML
Today, I noticed my daughter’s sullen mood and asked if there was anything I could do to help. With tears in her eyes, she snapped, “Yeah, you can go back in time and keep that appointment you’d made at planned parenthood!” I never had such an appointment and her older brother is a mean asshole. FML
Today, my son was getting jumped by four boys. My daughter came outta nowhere like freakin John Cena and started rag dolling those little punks. Instead of being thankful and grateful that his sister saved his ass, he decided to complain that she made him look like weak. FML
Today, my toddler started running around the house yelling, "Daddy said a bad word!" over and over again. I don't even know what I allegedly said, but now my wife is giving me the "we need to talk" look. FML

You need to open up a can of whoop-ass on him!

Sounds like he needs some tough love. I would recommend the ol' "5 across the eyes". Or if you are looking for a permanent solution to your misbehavior problems, there's always the "Dragon kick". Misbehavior seldom recurs after just one application.

If you can discipline without slaps, that would be the better option.

On the bright side it sounds like someone is raising your son right.

That’s where you explain to the twin, there’s always consequences in the world when you don’t do what you are supposed to do, or get into trouble. He should make note of what she did wrong, so as not to repeat the mistake. I’m all for spanking, under a certain age, and I don’t mean a beating, but an explanation needs to come with it. Once the child can understand what consequences are and can perceive what you say, you switch to time outs. I heard 1 minute for each year alive. But spankings should stop before age of 5. And they don’t need to hurt. A simple light swat on a diaper (which is padded and usually not painful) can get the message across without it being abuse. But use this as a teaching moment for both.
