What about king-size chocolate bars?
Today, I took away my daughter’s candy bar, saying, “Princesses never eat sweets.” She spent the next few hours crying, because she “didn’t want to be a princess anymore." FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I caught my young daughter eating candy after brushing her teeth. Angry, I asked her if she wanted all her teeth to fall out. She smiled and said, “Yes!” FML
Today, I took away my 8-year-old daughter's toy for throwing it too many times. She then said, "I need a beer." FML
Today, my mom complained that I never do anything nice for her, so while out shopping I bought her favorite chocolate bar. When I got home, she screamed at me because she’s on a diet. FML
Today, after a big lunch, my daughter told me she wasn’t hungry and didn’t want a snack. Ten minutes later, the sound of a bag of chips being opened summoned her like a beacon. She burst into the room, shouting, “HOW COULD YOU EAT WITHOUT ME?” I’m apparently not allowed to snack without filing paperwork now. FML
Today, my mom told me she’d never forgive me for eating her birthday candy. I ate it in my sleep. FML
Today, my two year old daughter did not want to leave the toy store, when I picked her up she started screaming at the top of her lungs, "YOU'RE NOT MY DADDY!". FML
Today, my 6-year-old daughter threw a tantrum in the middle of a store, all because I wouldn't buy her a pushup bra. FML
Today, my son asked for candy at a supermarket checkout. I said no. He laid on the floor and began screaming as if I'd killed his pet rabbit. Other parents nodded at me in silent sympathy, while strangers judged me with their glares. I bought the candy. He still screamed. FML
Today, my daughter thinks the way to save money is to stop taking her antidepressants, because they give her “uncontrollable” food cravings. FML
Today, I told my daughter that she wasn't allowed to eat in her room, so she sat at the table and glared at me for 10 minutes while she ate. She's 15. FML

And a phrase like that definitely won't create a bad relationships with food later in her life.

Haha, wow, gross. Why don't princesses eat candy, to you? Food is food. There is no "good food" and "bad food" , no "healthy food" and "unhealthy food". There are just foods that bodies can or cannot digest depending on the person. Teach your child moderation and to care for their body, not to fear certain types of foods because YOU were raised to think they are bad. Please do research into the newest studies on child rearing and eating disorders.

Because she's the evil stepmother. If she's her actual mother, believe me, the kid wishes she WASN'T.

Why would you lie to and shame your child for that? Princesses have literally historically eaten sweets. You're just pushing your misogynistic standards of beauty onto a *child*. Get therapy. Seriously. Don't keep damaging your child. Get help.

It's a bullshit job anyways! We don't even have titles of nobility in America. It says so explicitly in the Constitution and some of us still care about that. Sure, you might be losing the freedom to control your reproductive organs, but you can have all the guns and sweets you want, dammit!

Something is seriously wrong with you to take a candy bar from a child.

The phrase "like stealing candy from a baby" isn't suppose to be a suggestion.
