Today, I met my wife's other husband. FML
Today, I was introduced to the girl my current boyfriend went out with while dating me. FML
Today, my wife and I both spent a weekend away separately with our close friends. However, we ran into each other, unplanned, at the airport. She was with her girls and I was with my girlfriend. FML
Today, I was in the bank with my seven year-old daughter, when I saw an old high school friend of mine with his wife. I said hello, and he commented on how beautiful my little girl was. I thanked him, and as I turned away, I heard his wife say, "I guess the father must be the good looking one." FML
Today, my husband and I ran into his high school girlfriend at the mall. We were catching up and my husband told her that we have a daughter. She asked what our daughter's name, but my husband hesitated and tried to change the subject, so I told her it was Juniper. That was her name. FML
Today, I had to go to the mall for a quick errand. While there one of my friends who works at a phone booth was there and I stayed for a little bit chatting with him. While chatting, a girl passed by. She was so pretty that I blurted out, "What a woman!" out loud. Turns out it was my ex. FML
Today, I ran into my girlfriend by chance while out shopping. She looked different than usual. Maybe it was the wedding ring she was wearing, or how she had her arm around another gentleman, gee, I don't know. That's two years of my life wasted. FML
Today, I found out that the one who got away just had a baby, and named it after me. My current longtime girlfriend and I already decided not to have kids. FML
Today, after convincing my now ex-girlfriend that I wasn’t cheating on her with a girl from work the other day, I accidentally called her by her name. They both start with “M”. Hello, single life. FML
Today, I met my husband's other wife. FML

You really should have thought about that more. And you should have decided not to do it. Even if it isn't a matter of obsession, even if you just subconsciously picked the name, you should have realized it was the same as the name of your ex, and thought "maybe I shouldn't do that." As so many others have said already, you deserve the negative reactions from your family. Nothing excuses the fact that you insulted your wife and cursed your child, both by naming said child after someone you used to date. Your kid has to live with that now, at least until she is old enough to legally change her own name. And your wife will look at you every day from now on and know that you were thinking of another woman when your daughter was born. Congrats, douche.

Honestly though, I hope the child never even finds out. That is one of the worst things OP could've put on her shoulders. There are innumerable scenarios that could stem from having named her after the one that got away, and all of them are horrible.
