Today, while changing my tampon in a public restroom, a toddler crawled under the door of my stall and asked what I was doing. I had to wait until I'd finished to open the door and let her out. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Express yourself
Today, my toddler started chirping, "Mommy’s on the toilet!" while I was in a public restroom at our local mall. She also knocked on the stall door to make sure everyone was made aware of our exact location. FML

Today, I was changing my tampon in a public bathroom. As I was about to put the tampon into the sanitary bin, I dropped it and it rolled under the stall next to mine. It was occupied. FML
Today, I was using the restroom when a little girl tried to open my stall. It was locked, so she slid under the door and tried to have a conversation with me while I was pooping. FML
Revealing
Today, I was in a busy airport bathroom with my three year-old son. While in the process of pulling my pants down, my son decided to open the stall door. I jumped up to yank the door closed, but not before the line of waiting women saw me with my pants wrapped around my ankles. FML
Weirdo
Today, I went to the bathroom in a mall. As I was in the stall, a woman tried to open it. I yelled out that's it was occupied but she kept shaking it to open it. It came up to the point where she had to crawl under the door to see that I was there. FML
Nailed that social interaction
Today, I was in a public restroom when someone took the toilet next to mine. Moments later, a used tampon rolls into my cubicle followed by an "Oops!" A creeping hand then promptly reached under to retrieve it. Both her hand and the tampon touched my bare toes. FML
Today, I was in a public restroom with my one-year old. I had no idea he could reach the lock until he opened the door and ran out. In my haste to catch him, I not only peed all over my pants that were still around my ankles, I faceplanted on the nasty, moist bathroom floor. FML
Today, a little girl locked all the stalls in the girls' bathroom where I work and crawled under the doors. I then had to crawl around on the bathroom floor in order to unlock the doors. FML
Today, as I was using the public restroom in the mall, someone decided to slam the stall door next to mine. This resulted in my stall door opening while I was still on the toilet. The door was too far for me to reach. FML

I can't stand it when parents don't supervise their children.

Or when parents take their kids out in public and let them wail and cry, ignoring them completely.

Or run around in front of people walking in the shopping centre, you almost trip over them and you get no sorry but a filthy stare instead.

sometimes they do supervise and accidents happen. imagine being in the next stall over doing the same thing and your child slips out into the next one within 5 seconds.

Show the kid some the bleed and ask for an ambulance.

I don't condone child abuse... but...

if you're implying that the kid should be punished you're out of your mind the kid's parents should've been watching her more closely

I condone kicking the child in the face.

who lets their child crawl around on the floor of a public bathroom

In the parent's defense, the mom could be on the other side of the door with her pants half down trying to grab the kid. It's hard to pee on a public restroom with a toddler. They're quick and your pants are down. I've had to jump up, pants down, and grab a toddler before she went under the stall door. Hopefully that's the case and it's not just an inattentive parent.

I can't speak for the rest of the world but in the Parent rooms in Australia, they have 1 toilet with a closed and locked door. Full door. Very handy in these type of situations.

I'm in Australia to, and some places don't have parent rooms and some parent rooms have stalls .....

There are leashes for kids. Some get offended by them, its really for the kid's safety.

I have had similar things happen to me, my automatic reaction is to kick a face coming under the door. Thankfully I pulled the kick so I didn't get the kid.

That you have a reflex reaction to faces coming under bathroom stall doors is probably the most concerning thing here.

I get that kids need to have their immune systems stimulated for better health later in life, but what sort of mom lets her kid crawl around on the floor of a public restroom? That's nasty!
Georgia2016 15
they probably don't "let" them. they probably also using the toilet and the child crawled across. sometimes hard to stop.

Why can't public restrooms just have the stalls extend to the floor and they put free/vacant labels on the locks?
