Today, the package I've waited for months for finally arrived. It turned out it wasn't for me, but for my sister, who bought the same thing only 2 weeks ago. When I called, the company told me they received my payment, but that there were no more of the item in stock. FML

Today, I get home and there's a package waiting for me. I ordered something online 2 weeks ago for a girl I like. She's not available anymore. No refunds. FML
Today, it was my big sister's birthday, and I was told the iPod I ordered her online was not coming due to a mix up. I drove to three different electronic stores before I found the one she wanted. After spending forever in traffic, I came home to find a package on my doorstep. It was her iPod. FML
Today, I was so tired that I thought the item I'd ordered a few months ago had been delivered then stolen, so I emailed the company about it. When I checked back on the website, I realized it hadn't actually been delivered yet and I read the invoice wrong. FML
Today, I received the Christmas gift I bought for my sister in the mail. I also received a nearly $200 bill for shipping fees, taxes, etc. for a $50 blanket from Canada. FML
Today, I checked for the third time this week if my package that 'arrived' five days ago had been found. Not only was it a different employee at the concierge desk, meaning I had to explain everything again, but they told me the same bullshit about how it's "not their fault". The package is my new phone. FML
Today, while doing our Christmas shopping, my sister showed me a product that she really hated. The same one I bought her for Christmas. FML
Today, I finally got a package for some pieces that my model kit was missing after I had contacted customer services about the problem. The package was still missing a piece. FML
Today, I finally got a product I ordered two weeks ago as a free trial-only pay shipping deal. Also today, the same company took an extra $130 out of my account without authorisation. Best part: when I called to sort things out, they told me they had no record of my order details. FML
Today, I was expecting two packages containing tools, but only one arrived. Interestingly, it was NOT the one where I had paid extra – for the first time ever – to guarantee delivery today. Now I have a set of bits and no ratchet to turn them. FML
Today, I received an email from a shipping company telling me they had dropped off a package of expensive electronics at the front door. Too bad someone stole it before I made it to the door. FML

Actually I agree. I had thought you can complain and insist they send as his sister got hers. The problem is this is a problem order. It sometimes happens that you get stuck in a crack. You will stay there for a long time. Cancel and start again. You might at least get a survey as to why you cancelled your order.

Not always. The NFL online shop didn't tell me, but I still got my money back and the product way cheaper.

I just got a watch in the mail today with a note saying they ran out of the one I ordered and thus sent me a different style in a different color. You'd think they'd call or email and ask me if I preferred that or a refund. Luckily I like the watch. But still, OP, maybe contact customer service and explain the situation?

One time I ordered a scarf online, they had accidentally over sold the product but the money was already taken out of my debit card. Thankfully, the person I talked to about it was nice and understanding (since this was my first time ever ordering anything online, I was very confused about the whole thing). It took them a few attempts but they finally got my money returned and apologized for all their technical errors during the process. I would still buy things from the website if I wasnt so broke nowadays! lol.
