Today, while driving home, some idiot kept tailgating me, so I slowed down, hoping he'd overtake me. He didn't, so I pulled to the side of the road. He did the same, in front of me. He kept toying with me until I crashed into another car trying to speed away from him. FML

Today, while driving to work, some asshole stopped sharply on the 60 mph highway because he almost hit the car in front of him. Even with maintaining my distance, and slamming on the brakes, I still ruined the front end of my car on his dented bumper. I haven't even had the car for a year, and I'm still the one at fault. FML

Today, while at a stop light, I was rear-ended by a car behind me. The guy got angry at me, because according to him, I should've known that his car has poor braking distance, and so I should've moved forward a few more feet to compensate. FML

Today, I was driving around a parking lot, looking for an empty spot. Someone was backing out a bit too quickly as I was about to pass by, so I honked to announce myself. The driver instead panicked and reversed into my front bumper. FML

Today, I was driving down a one-way street, when some raging dumbass came screaming the wrong way down the road at me. My instant reaction was to brake and give the guy a chance to do the same. His instant reaction was to keep going and wreck my car. FML

Today, I was driving home from work and noticed the car behind me was tailgating me pretty badly. I was starting to get angry with the driver, and kept glancing in my rear view mirror at him. While I was doing so, the traffic ahead of me stopped, and I rear-ended the car in front of me. FML

Today, I got rear-ended at a stop sign on a seldom used road in my neighborhood. As I open my car door to trade insurance information with the guy, he backs up a little and speeds away, taking my car door with him. FML

Today, some aggressive asshole was tailgating me on my way home, bumping into me twice. I got scared and kicked my car into high gear and got out of there. Seconds later, a traffic cop came out of nowhere and pulled me over for speeding. FML

It's true; I've completely replaced my brakes with the back of somebody's car, and it works like a charm! As a matter of fact, after that modification, my car is completely stationary all the time!

I was rear-ended the other week, all I need to do is replace the bumper and parking sensors which are around £150 to do the lot, and my insurance company wrote off my car because apparently £150 is more than 80% of £3000. >.> So now my car is worth nothing if I want to sell it, but I got me some free monies.

I'm not sure I agree it was his fault. By the law in most states it technically is, and I won't dispute that. He should have to pay for any damages he legally caused. But I can't tell you how many times I've had people pull out in front of me where I had to slam on my breaks to avoid rear ending them, or hastily change lanes. Not saying OP is one of these, just saying we weren't there. All we hear is OP's side.
