Today, I’m currently battling a cold that caused me to call into work yesterday and, as of this morning, I’ve also started my period and have the most painful cramps ever. Good thing I have the day off from work. FML

Today, I’ve finished all my cancer treatments but my body is putting me through the wringer again. I got my first period after not having one for nearly a year, and with it has come all sorts of hormonal issues including cramping, mood swings, hot flashes, and heinous BO! It’s worse than puberty! It could be a thyroid problem. Trust me. I had the same thing happening for almost two years. Then it just became a constant thing. So please go to the doctor and ask about it.

Go to the doctor. your period should not last that long, unless they are irregular, but then again I never had mine last that long. just go to the doctor and explain what has been happening

It could be the stress. If you are under a lot of stress, your period gets irregular and kind of crazy. This happened to me once when I was during finals week and I finished my period only to have another one like 5 days later. But it didn't last long. Anyways, it's probably not a big deal, but if it keeps happening, you should visit a doctor.

if you're on birth control, you should go see a doctor to get another type of birth control. i've had a period like this before and after I changed my birth control pill, everything was fine again
