Today, I started my period, complete with cramps, diarrhoea, a headache, bloating, and aching legs. Apparently my body didn't get the message that I had a total hysterectomy a month ago, including my ovaries, tubes and cervix. FML

Today, I’m currently battling a cold that caused me to call into work yesterday and, as of this morning, I’ve also started my period and have the most painful cramps ever. Good thing I have the day off from work. FML

Today, I’ve finished all my cancer treatments but my body is putting me through the wringer again. Go to the doctor, make sure it is not anything to worry about. My friend can have her period for three months and nothing is wrong, but still having a very unusual period is always something worth checking out.

I had the same problem and still kinda do. It's most likely an Ovarian Cyst. You should go to the doctor and get an Ultrasound done, OP. I hope you stop bleeding soon.

I was having the same issue. Bleeding for entire months at a time. Had my mom call a gyno, told them I was already taking iron supplements. Got a birth control prescription, and now I know exactly what week I'll be bleeding. Try that.

I would say definitely see about getting on birth control, it stopped me from getting my period completely.
