Today, my parents, not trusting me and my boyfriend, told us to call them in the middle of our movie so they could hear it, and prove we weren't up to no good. Well, I called. Just as a raging sex scene started. FML

Today, I was watching a movie with my parents when a sex scene came on. As if that wasn't awkward enough, they started making out on the couch behind me. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I came back to my house after a night on the town. Thinking the house was empty, we had sex. Just as it was getting good, my phone beeped. It was a text from my mom, saying, "Quiet down. Even your father can tell you're faking." FML
Today, my boyfriend and I heard my parents going at it upstairs. He said, "sounds like they're having more fun than we did." To make it worse, he crept to their door and put his ear to it, telling me what he heard. FML
Today, I was on the phone with my boyfriend. We were feeling a little naughty, so we started talking dirty. I was really into describing a sweaty sex scene, when I heard my dad cough. He had picked up the other house phone to make a call, and had heard it all. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I were having phone sex. It got very wild and soon was interrupted by a knock on my door. My dad had come home early from work, and heard the whole thing. He demanded my boyfriend to come over, and he had a sex talk with him on the couch in front of the whole family. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I were having sex while his parents were out. They came home early, ran upstairs, and knocked on the door. Scrambling to find our clothes, we gave up and just hid under the blankets. They barged in, drunk and laughing, and tried ripping the covers off. FML
Today, I got permission from my parents for my boyfriend to stay over. Things got intimate, and I tried my hardest not to make too much noise. However, while having a post-sex cuddle, we heard my parents in the next room muttering about my "faking". FML
Today, while having sex with my boyfriend, my dad called my cell. He ended the phone call with, "and tell your boyfriend to shut up, I can hear him moaning." FML
Today, my parents walked in on me, having sex. No, I wasn't having sex. They were. FML

Seeing as you're not allowed to have phones on in cinemas, I assumed they would have access to a pause button, or an off button. Otherwise I assume the FML would then finish 'then the manager threw us out for disturbing the film FML'.

Not allowed doesn't mean that jackasses don't bring them inside and use them. It'd be extremely silly for the parents to think that if they were watching from home they wouldn't just quickly pop in a movie for the call...

Maybe the cinemas you are used to are terrible about the rules. Whenever I've gone, barely anyone brings an unsilenced phone into the auditorium, and when it goes off or they start using it, the attendants throw them out. Or the other patrons give them a death glare (trust me, the cinema is lit just enough to see such things) til the culprit puts the phone away... then slinks out from shame.
