Today, my mom won the lottery. My biological mom who I only met last year, after 33 years of not knowing who she was. She is sharing her millions with her kids, but that doesn't include me as I "don't count". FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I won the lottery. My ex-girlfriend has the ticket. I just broke up with her. FML
Breaking
Today, my mom told me that she had great news: we were going to meet my biological parents. I didn't know I was adopted. FML
Today, it's my mother's birthday. She received the ultimate gift from my brother, who told her he had just been accepted into medical school. I bought her scratch-offs. She won a dollar. FML
Today, I met my biological mother for the first time. She stole my wallet. FML
Today, after months of helping my mother with bills because she claimed she had no money, I found out she makes way more than what I do. She just wanted my money for alcohol and drugs. FML
So close
Today, not only did my ex-wife take everything in our divorce, my most recent lottery ticket was off by only one number, I would have won millions and she wouldn’t have been entitled to a penny. Oh well, back to sleeping in my caravan, which is all I have left. FML
The truth will always come out
Today, my mother, who is 75 years-old, just told me and my sister that we were adopted. I'm 45 years-old and my sister is 49. FML
The lifescript
Today, I found out that my mother doesn’t visit me because I'm the only sibling without children. She posts all about her wonderful children on social media, but I'm left out. She hasn't set foot in my house since I moved out of hers. FML
Embarrassment
Today, at the reading of my mother's last will and testament, I found out that despite having cared for her for the final years of her life, she denied me an inheritance. She basically said I'm an embarrassment, because when she wrote it, I was 31 years-old, with no wife or children. FML
Today, my mom cleaned out my bank account, saying my "no-good dad" owes her child support and that she'll get it one way or another. FML

she abandoned you before not sure why you expected things to change... sucks but I would of never even attempted to be part of her life... stranger danger

Since you “don’t count,” you are now obligated to not invite her to any family gatherings you are hosting.

You're a 33 year old man. Begging for money from mum at your age is pathetic, lottery win or no.

If she gave millions to her other offspring, I think it’s fair to assume OP wad gonna ask for some.

It's not just the money; it sucks she didn't count him or her as her child. That's a pretty shitty thing to say.

Sad truth is that I don’t think she would have even cared if OP invited her or not. I think this would have been a different outcome if OP was the one who won the lottery and had millions of dollars.

Somehow, I do not think this is quite an equivalent loss.

I'm sorry your mom is like this, but now you have no obligation to contact her anymore. Your real mom is the woman who raised you.

Sue her for emotional distress and abandonment

Her money, she can do whatever she wants with it. She gave you away and not all people want to be contacted by/have relationships with the children they put up for adoption. She had no contact with you, did not raise you and clearly isn't your mom just because you got out of her ******.

Looks like the second time you didn’t count to her. Walk away from this one!

What mom? I don't see how you can call her that.

I'm really sorry for you OP. I'm pretty sure that not getting anything from the lottery win isn't even as hard as hearing that you "don't count" for her. But then again there probably was a reason that you didn't get to know her for 33 years, right? Maybe it's time for you to move on and not look back to your biological mother.

Are you only calling her mom now cause she won the lottery? I mean, she gave you up. Even though she gave birth to you, she isn't your mother and that won't change.
