Today, my mom told me she can't wait for me to turn eighteen so she can turn my room into a place for her to display all her antique glass dolls. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I found out my mom can't wait until I turn 18, so she can kick me out and turn my room into a huge closet for all her clothes. FML
Sentenced
Today, I realized I can't wait until my daughter moves out the house when she is 18. She's eight. FML
Today, I received the 'special' present my mother had sent me for my 21st birthday. I opened the box and saw that my mother had picked out, accessorized and shipped to me, in college, a doll. FML
My boy
Today, I decided at age 18 that it's time to put into storage the picture books that have been collecting dust in my room for nearly a decade. My mother took this as a sign that I'm planning to move out and abandon her forever, and has been crying for the last four hours. FML
Keep on trucking
Today, six days before I turn 18, my mom totaled her nice BMW. She had promised it to me as a birthday present. My step-dad is giving me his old rusty truck instead, so now I can look like a hick. FML
Today, my mom got a cat. I'm allergic to cats, so I politely asked my mom why she got it. Her response: "I want you to finally want to move out." I turned eighteen two weeks ago. FML
Today, it's my sixteenth birthday and my mom promised me she'd buy me a car. She came home with a toy lego car. FML
Denial
Today, at 18, I finally told my mom I was gay. She spent the rest of the day bringing up my "future wife" at every possible chance she had. FML
Today, it's my 18th birthday. I was telling my friends a story when my mom started talking. I simply said 'Mom...' so she'd realize she interrupted me. She gave me the finger and called me rude in front of all my friends. FML
Today, my mom put some bubblewrap on my desk because she thought I would have fun with it. I'm 18. It was awesome. FML

Just like I'm sure you've told her that you can't wait until you're eighteen to move out and be on your own.... Is it so weird for your mom to have a conversation with you that you turn running the other way? or are you upset that she's exciting to soon have a room for herself/her stuff? Idk, I think you're overreacting. It's not like she said she's kicking you out, and it's not as if she would keep your room exactly the way you kept it once you are moved out anyways.

Better than having your room hijacked by your little sister. We're in our twenties, she took my room 3 years ago, and I'm still p.o.'d about it. Totally understandable.

Glass dolls are the creepiest things ever o_O Their eyes follow you.

No, I think Furbies are worse. When I was a kid, mine would never shut up! So then I threw it at the wall one day and I swear to God the thing called me a douchebag... Yeah, so I got rid of it and had some awkward nightmares about rabit Furbies for a while. Not a good experience.

#43 I saw a video with a Furby saying all kinds of horrible things. I mean, REALLY horrible things. Furbies are also very creepy, indeed.

Nooo! The absolute creepiest things ever are porcelain clown dolls. Or clowns of any type for that matter!

#68 As someone who's terrified of both clowns and dolls, I agree.

I freak out with the dolls that can shut their eyes when you lay them down! Also Cabbage Patch Kid Dolls scare the crap out of me!
