Today, my girlfriend told me to stop saying "I love you" so much because it's starting to annoy her. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I told my girlfriend of two years that I love her. She replied, "Um, I don't mean to be rude, but can you just shut up?" FML
Today, my girlfriend asked me not to love her so much, so she doesn't have to try so hard to match my love for her. What the fuck? FML
Today, my fiancé tells me he loves me about 100 times a day. At first it was cute, but now it's getting really annoying. We can't have a conversation without him throwing in about 10 "I love you"s. I'm beginning to not want to talk to him anymore. FML
Today, my girlfriend yelled at me for breathing too much. FML
Sorry seems to be the harshest word
Today, my girlfriend has yelled at me multiple times for saying sorry too much. It's involuntary, due to me constantly being told I never do anything right growing up by my parents. She knows this, and is even then one who helped me realize this, and still yells at me for it. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend I loved him. His response? "Is that why you have been so clingy and annoying lately?" FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me because she heard me say "love you" on the phone. I was talking to my mom. FML
Smothered
Today, I wrote "I love you" on my girlfriend's Facebook wall. She completely freaked out and accused me of being "too clingy" and that I'm starting to feel more like a stalker than a boyfriend. FML
Today, my girlfriend tearfully complained that I was smothering her to death with my clinginess, and that I should learn to respect her boundaries. This is after she complained I wasn't giving her enough attention. FML
Misophonist or misogynist?
Today, my boyfriend said to me, in front of his friends, “Can you stop breaking out into song all the time? It’s getting really annoying.” FML

Saying any combination of words over and over can be annoying no matter how heartfelt they may be.

That really does get annoying like if you say it to much you lose the real meaning of the word don't throw it around so much

for once in my life I don't want to be mean and say 'YDI' however, my ex said it so much that I wouldn't say it back at all. and sometimes I would respond with 'you do?' lol It does loose it's meaning when overused, and she prob thinks that you r saying it all the time cuz u are scared to lose her. Be confident! that's SEXY ;)

I can understand that. I mean she knows you love her and saying it over and over again can feel oppressive and make you seem insecure or like you're trying to hide something
