Today, my fiancé tells me he loves me about 100 times a day. At first it was cute, but now it's getting really annoying. We can't have a conversation without him throwing in about 10 "I love you"s. I'm beginning to not want to talk to him anymore. FML

Today, I told my boyfriend I loved him. His response? "Is that why you have been so clingy and annoying lately?" FML
Today, my boyfriend wanted to tell me how much he loves me. He said a lot of wonderful things, such as not being able to live without me and hoping that I would want to live with him and marry him someday. He ended his loving speech with his ex-girlfriend's name instead of mine. FML
Today, my boyfriend said to me, in front of his friends, “Can you stop breaking out into song all the time? It’s getting really annoying.” FML
Today, my boyfriend called me 80 times in 5 minutes. I had previously told him I was with my friends. He left me a voicemail proposing saying he loved me to death and he was crying. We've been dating for a week. FML
Today, I finally addressed why my boyfriend started calling me "love bug" since we haven't used pet names in the entirety of our 2 year relationship. His response? "because I love you but you bug the shit out of me. It seemed appropriate." FML
Today, I realized my boyfriend is so seldom romantic that it actually makes me uncomfortable when he says something cute. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me he loves me. Instead of saying it back, I had a panic attack. FML
Today, my boyfriend decided he was going to narrate everything I do. I can't get him to stop. FML

My husband did this as well. You're right, it is cute at first. After awhile, I wanted to punch him in the mouth. He'd even wake me up to tell me he just loves me so much. IF YOU LOVE ME THEN LET ME SLEEP, MAN. Anyway, give him a talk. It works for awhile. Also, try to be grateful that you are loved so much.

I dated a guy 2 years ago that would do the same thing but with kisses. It got do bad that he kissed my forehead in my sleep and while still asleep I said, "Oh my ******* god." And turned away from him really fast. I ended up hurting his feelings. I honestly wished I would have told him before that incident.

He could say it a lot for lots of reasons, good or bad. I know I'm the type of partner who says I love you a lot, and honestly, for myself, I've done it with my last relationship and this one, but for different reasons. my last relationship was because I felt like I wasn't doing enough, no matter how much I did. This time though, I say it so much simply because I'm filled with how much I love my partner and I just want him to know he's loved and appreciated. in my last relationship, the I love yous were an issue, but they're not in this one... take some time to talk and to reflect on both of your actions, just to be sure and to keep (or make) your relationship HEALTHY

A few things run through my mind. Listed in no particular order. 1) It's guilt because he's hiding something 2) He really just wants you to know that he loves you because he's just that into you 3) He's got some childhood issues that make him need for you to know that you're loved unlike he was. I think this one was mentioned elsewhere, but I guess that makes at least two of us that are thinking this.
