Today, my energetic 10-month-old decided to stay up four hours past bedtime. After I FINALLY got him to sleep, I tried to go to bed. My husband is now snoring, farting and taking up my side of the bed. I desperately need some sleep. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Teamwork
Today, my newborn daughter has kept me up all day and all night for the past few days. Usually my husband sleeps. I finally cracked and yelled for his help, only for him to scream at me that he needs sleep and gives her to me anyway. FML
Demonic attack!
Today, my 10-month-old kept me up all night after a gruelling day. I finally fell asleep with her at about 2 a.m., and I woke up half an hour later to her hands on my throat, and her biting my nose. Startled, I took a big breath through my nose and snorted an ungodly amount of slobber. I’m awake now. FML
Today, it's 2am. I've been trying to get to sleep for the past two hours next to my snoring boyfriend. Every time I nudge him to shut him up, his body tenses, he farts, then goes straight back to snoring. FML
Today, after struggling for hours to fall asleep with my husband's rather rattling snoring, I finally managed to drop off… only to be rudely awakened an hour later by my husband elbowing me in the face in his sleep. FML
Chainsaw
Today, after a very poor night's sleep, I've had to stay awake and do housework while my husband, who slept like a baby last night, keeps on sleeping because he "didn't sleep well." He was snoring all night long, the reason I didn't sleep well. FML
Sleepless in Singapore
Today, I was having trouble sleeping due to jet lag. I was finally sleepy and looking forward to a decent night of rest when my 4 year-old woke up and refused to stay in his room or try to rest. The next two hours involved him shouting at me, kicking me, and crying because he wanted Daddy, who is on a business trip. FML
Burn out
Today, I'm dead on my feet after being awake since 1AM with the baby. I begged my wife to watch both the baby and our four year-old for an hour while I napped. She refused, and instead said she needed a rest more. Her reason? “I might need to do a shit later.” FML
Selfish tit
Today, I'm running on two hours sleep thanks to our new baby. My partner slept all night, and when I asked them to take over so I could have a nap, they ran to bed, saying that they needed to sleep. Why? Apparently, the baby noise woke them up "once or twice" and they needed the extra sleep more than me. FML
New parents know
Today, I've reached a level of tired I didn't think was possible. I've had less than 3 hours sleep in the last 72 hours and have not slept more than 20 minutes each stretch because my newborn is so unsettled. The baby has been peacefully sleeping for the last 3 hours and I can't sleep. FML
Sleepless in Longfield
Today, after not being able to sleep for two hours because my boyfriend wouldn't stop talking, he fell asleep and I was left wide awake. I listened to him snore for another three hours and only got a couple of hours sleep. He's not working today, but I am. FML

You've made it past level one and are on to level two. The end boss involves a strobe light, a bed shaped like an airplane seat, and an army of mosquitos that make alarm clock sounds.

Maybe you could ask him to be in charge of putting your baby to sleep for a few nights so you can catch up on your sleep! Hang in there OP, it'll get better!

Have him go on baby duty, or move him to the couch for a couple nights

My fiancé and I live together with no children and we are both full time workers and students. I get sooooo grumpy when I've been doing whatever all night (hw, cleaning etc) and I come to bed to hear him snore. On nights like those I just sleep in the guest room. I honestly don't know how new parents deal with annoying shit like that on top of having a screaming or fussy baby. It's impressive.

You forgot to mention that the bed is made of nails, and the pillow is a balloon.

or worse, a pillow that is warm on both sides D:

I think i would sooner sleep on a bed of nails than deal with a hot pillow:(

Set up a bed in the baby's room sounds the better choice :P

Set up a bed in the baby's room and then make your partner sleep in there!

Bad idea dear if he is snoring and farting. It'll keep waking the baby

#13 Astonishingly those are the kind of sounds that ensure that the baby will sleep through the night. When I was beyond exhausted from lack of sleep between a baby that wouldn't sleep for longer than 90min between nursing, and a snoring hubby, I put the baby next to my hubby and slept in the kids room. Best all-night-sleep I had had since birth.

Before one of my close friends had kids, I would have questioned how a 10-month-old could "decide" anything, much less to misbehave or not sleep. Said friend now has an almost-two-year-old who has had issues with going to sleep when he should since he was about the age of OP's baby. And he's experiencing his Terrible Twos early, as well. I have learned many things from observing my friend's child. Like that I am unsure if I have the patience to be a mother. I feel for you, OP. I hope you manage to get some rest soon.

Ask your husband to take charge of putting the kid to sleep, actually just make him put the kid to sleep, you deserve to catch up on your sleep! Have your hubby put the baby sleep for a few nights

can't you wake the guy up and make him move over?

Be careful, you're using too much logic. On a serious note, waking up the husband and telling him to get on his side will not ruin his sleep. If anything, it will cause the snoring to temporarily cease since he would be changing positions.
