Today, my drunk uncle threw my brand new iPhone 3GS into my pool, ruining it completely. When I asked him to pay for the 600 dollar replacement cost, he said he wasn't responsible for his drunken actions. All of my family members are on his side. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was at a pool party with some friends. They grabbed and lifted me in the air, about to throw me in the pool. My iPhone was in my pocket, so I screamed "MY PHONE!" They paused so I could gently throw it onto a deck chair. It bounced, hit the concrete, and cracked its screen. FML
Today, my dad borrowed my new iPad to amuse him while he was in the shower without my knowledge. The iPad is now completely ruined, and my dad is refusing to buy me a new one. He says, "How was I to know that it wasn't waterproof?" FML
The blame game
Today, my brother got mad at me for breaking the screen on his phone. He'd already dropped it so many times that the whole screen was cracked to the point that you couldn't see anything on it, but for some reason, I am fully responsible for its destruction because I accidentally delivered the finishing blow. FML
Today, my boyfriend threw me into his pool. I had my phone and iPod in my pockets. FML
Drunken mess
Today, my drunk sister came in my room at 2 in the morning, sat on the side of my bed, fell off, knocked over my glass of water, which ruined my new phone, then got angry at me for getting angry with her. She then slammed my door, which made all the photo frames smash to the ground. FML
Empty gesture
Today, I bought lunch for my grandparents, aunts, and uncles. My uncle apparently felt uncomfortable at the restaurant, because he got up and flipped the table over before leaving. The bill tripled because of the broken glass, and my uncle called me up later for a ride. FML
Today, I got home from a week-long vacation with my friend's family. When I got back home, I found the garage door had been completely demolished. My uncontrollably drunk dad blamed me. I don't even drive. FML
Today, after saving up for weeks, I bought myself an iPad. Because mine is better than the one my parents bought my ten-year-old brother, he got pissed and threw it into our pool. I'm now grounded for getting angry and calling him a bastard in the aftermath. FML
Today, after calling the insurance plan for my new iPhone a "huge waste of money", I promptly dropped it in the store while trying to put it into my pocket, cracking the screen. FML
Cruel winter
Today, my uncle stole my cousin's phone to take a picture of me. He then sent said picture to my cousin's boyfriend, saying that she'd been cheating on him with me for over a year. He's been cheated on before and is hysterical. My uncle then had the nerve to act all defensive when my cousin and I exploded at him. FML

Get drunk and drive his car into the lake. Problem solved, after all you can't take responsibility for your drunken actions.

dont get revenge...go to court ;) seriously, intoxication is NEVER a defense in court so get your money back.

Taking him to court will get you your money, no doubt about it, but you'll probably lose more in court costs than the phone is worth.

FYL for your brand new phone getting ruined, but seeing as you referred to it as an iPhone 3GS instead of just saying iPhone - specific model isn't necessary - you were probably annoying him by bragging about how cool you think you are for owning an iSomething. In which case, I would've thrown it in the pool too.

and you'd be a douchebag too. Being annoyed at someone is no excuse to trash their stuff.

Take one of his credit cards and buy something. then say you were drunk when you did it so you cant be held responsible. Tho if your willing to spend 600 dollars on a phone im sure you can afford a new one.

Would you like to spend $600 to pay for damage to your property caused by a drunken family member? I didn't think so.

Ruin your own families and his houses drunk, and then end all contact with any of them and leave. It'd be so sweet.

I'd say wait until early next May -- just go with me, it's a long plan -- wait until early next May and swipe his credit card. Then treat EVERYONE you know to a crazy Cinco de Mayo! You're all SUUUUPER trashed, having fun, and cannot - by your family's standards - be responsible for your actions! You *are* over 21, right OP? Why not have a really good night, be the most awesome guy around aaaaaaand taste a little revenge?

Drunken words are sober thoughts. I suppose they'd be on your girlfriend's side if she got drunk and cheated on you...*shakes head*

YabsolutelyDI for spending $600 on a phone..go feed a third world country or something else a thousand times more important than a fancy phone with about 4000 applications, only like 10 of which are actually useful...ha...

Unless you go sell your computer and donate the money right now you are a hypocrite.
Illumi113 0
Do YOU deny yourself any and all luxuries and use the spare money to feed starving third world countries? No, you don't. So shut up and stop being a hypocrite.
