Today, my daughter asked me how long she had to put her 2-minute noodles in the microwave for. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste

Today, my daughter tried to make pasta by putting a pot on the stove, pouring the noodles in without adding water, and turning on the stove. Then she asked me, "How come these aren’t getting soft like when you make them?" She’s 19. FML
Today, my daughter put a doll in the microwave "to keep her warm". She's 17. FML
Today, my eight-year-old microwaved our thermometer to see if the temperature would change. FML
Boom!
Today, while I was in the shower, my 4 year-old son wondered what would happen if he put 6 eggs in the microwave. FML

Today, I put leftovers in the microwave, pressed two minutes, and walked away. I came back to discover I'd started the kitchen timer instead. I'd spent two minutes waiting for food that had never even started warming up. FML
Today, I had to explain very slowly to my mum why she cannot put metal cutlery in the microwave. She did it anyway. FML
Today, I spent an hour and a half trying to rid my house of smoke and burnt plastic smell because my little sister didn't know she was supposed to add water in the package of microwaveable mac and cheese. FML
Today, I left my daughter with a babysitter for the first time. When I came home, my microwave was ruined because they had attempted to heat cans of Play-Doh as a science experiment. FML
Not so tech savvy
Today, in Home Ec, I struggled to open the microwave for almost 10 minutes in front of the whole class. FML

Maybe she wouldn't be so dumb if you fed her something with some actual nutritional value to it....

Wow, guys! Maybe she isn't that dumb. If OP has a shitty microwave, it's logical her/his daughter would ask such a thing. Our microwave is 15 years old and if I were to put 2- minute noodles in to that thing, I would see that after two minutes it's still practically cold and dry. Calm your ****, guys! :)

well with my microwave the suggested time is never enough so i ask my brother sometimes even if it says the time on the package

It depends on the brand of noodles. Often times the correct amount of time is 0 minutes because you aren't supposed to put it in the microwave at all.

Well, its exactly halfway between 1 and 3 minutes.

Different Wattage for different microwaves. Therefore you have to change the time accordingly. It would say on the pot how long for different wattage and she wanted to know the power of your microwave. Also, seriously, microwaving noodles?

I'm iffy on this one. I've had those two-minute noodle type meals before, and very often they needed longer than two-minutes to actually cook where they were not still hard.
