Today, my co-worker offered me sweets, then chocolate and then biscuits. Repeatedly. She knows I'm trying to diet for my wedding. She does this every day. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, after several months of eating right, exercising, and weight loss, my mother has yet again arrived at my house, unannounced and with a very sugary cake. She's been doing this most weeks since I lost 50 pounds. FML
Today, my niece offered me a slice of cake. After I refused, she asked, "Why not? Aren't fat people always hungry?" FML
Snarky and brave
Today, and every other day this week, I brought carrots and celery into work to eat as a snack instead of chocolate. I got back from lunch to find a note on my desk saying, "Do you really think it's OK to eat carrots and celery that loudly every day?" Guess I won't try to be healthy. FML
Today, my boss ate a small piece of paper off her desk, thinking it was frosting. I have to work for this woman. FML
Today, a coworker left a chocolate cake on the "free food" table in the office. I had a slice. She's just called to ask if she left her grandmother's birthday cake at work. She made it from scratch. Now I'm baking a new cake in the office kitchen. FML
Care and sympathy
Today, after taking vacation time to visit her, my mom told me she was glad I was leaving so she could get back to her diet. I'm prediabetic and have been trying to manage the condition. She ordered dessert at every meal and was the only one in the family who did. FML
Today, I told my mom I was finally going on a diet. She let me know how proud she is of me fighting temptation, by making my favorite cookies and dinner. FML
As a treat
Today, I bought myself a Crumbl cookie as a treat for losing 20lbs. Upon seeing it, my mom screamed at me for cheating on my diet and how I was going to "gain all the weight back" and insisted she eat some of it to "help me out." She left behind a tiny morsel of the cookie with a chocolate chip chunk. FML
Nice try
Today, this girl I've been talking to texted me, saying she was going to visit. Trying to be sweet, I bought her $50 worth of chocolate and a cute card. Turns out she meant to send that text to her ex. Seems like the only thing I'll get from this relationship is diabetes. FML
Feed me and shut up
Today, the lady running the pastry shop asked who I buy the second pastry for every day. I lied and told her that it's for a coworker. I eat them both. FML

Continuously offer her dieting food, subtly suggesting you've noticed weight gain until she shuts the **** up?

That co-worker is probably jealous of you. Show her that you're stronger than that and whenever you do get married, brag about it :) You deserve it.

Well, just keep rejecting the offers. At least you've got some strong will power!

If there weren't any temptations, there would be nothing to be proud of in resisting!

Collect the goodies, store them for after wedding treats.

If she did this before you got engaged/ to other workers, she's just offering you out of habit. Dieting doesn't mean you can't have one piece. If you're the only one she offers sweets to, she's jealous. Congrats on the engagement!

When you attempt to engage in any type of self-improvement, including dieting, there are a fair number of people who will try to sabotage you. There's a lot that's been written about diet sabotage in particular, if you want to read up. One thing that applies to any sort of self-improvement is the "crab bucket mentality": the idea that nobody should be allowed to succeed if others fail. When it comes to dieting, often the saboteur is someone who's repeatedly tried and failed to lose weight, and is therefore determined to make others fail. (Like crabs in a bucket, clawing back those who attempt to escape.) There can be people who have a mental investment in their image of you as "the fat chick/dude" in their office group, for whatever reason. Or some people will sabotage you just because it's fun. Sometimes your own partner will try to sabotage you. Sometimes your partner fears that if you achieve a more conventionally attractive body you might "get a better offer" and leave them. Or they fear that a sudden, unexplained assay at self-improvement can only be explained by cheating or at least by "looking".

Eat and enjoy! If your fiancé requires you to starve to please him, he’s superficial and doesn’t deserve you!

I think you need to take a break from the internet for a while because your comments are becoming even more ridiculous than ever. Take a nap!

What if OP has her dress? She should gain weight so she can't fit into it anymore?

Never understood dieting specifically for weddings.
