Today, my child-hating friend who vowed never to have any no matter what, announced that she's pregnant. I've had three IVF cycles, spent $90k in fertility treatments, and still can't conceive. FML

Today, I have been trying to get pregnant for 4 years. I’ve gone through numerous expensive fertility treatments with no success. A former friend of mine owes me almost $2K. I’ve asked for the money back numerous times so that I can use it to pay for another round of IVF. She won’t pay. She just announced that she's pregnant.. FML
Today, I was told that I will never be able to have children. Thankfully for my husband, his girlfriend sure can. FML
Today, my close friend who’s always been incredibly vocal about how much she hates children, never wants to be around them or have anything to do with them, stopped speaking to me. She’s incredibly "hurt" that I asked another friend to be my unborn child's godmother instead of her. FML
Today, my friend told me she wanted to get pregnant. I thought that was good news, but then she said she wanted my boyfriend to be the father of her baby. FML
Today, after years of trying, my husband and I did IVF, fertilized 5 eggs, and the whole process was really rough. Now, a year after giving birth to our daughter, my husband wants to use another egg, but I don’t want to go through that all again. FML
Today, my mother-in-law said: "People who don't have kids are children of the devil." I'm infertile, she knows this. FML
Today, we have three kids. Two were "natural" and our third was through expensive IVF. Of all three kids, only our IVF son turned out to be a real asshole. Now he’s going to jail for armed robbery and pushing a pregnant woman to the floor. Wish we’d saved that IVF money and paid off the mortgage. FML
Today, we recently found out I'm infertile, and I thought we were both devastated, until my partner posted a drunk video to Facebook, basically celebrating that we will never have, "crying, nappy-shitting, soul-sucking, bank account-draining little sods." FML
Today, I told my mom I was thinking of having a baby. She told me it was a huge mistake because children cost a fortune, make you miserable, and if she'd had her chance again she would have gotten her tubes tied when she was 18 and saved herself the grief. Gee, thanks mom. FML
Today, after four years of infertility, my wife and I found out our miracle pregnancy was going to be a boy; our first child. Twenty minutes later, we found out our child has a terminal genetic condition, and will die in the next 4 weeks. FML

So sorry OP. :( on the bright side the results of IVF are much better than they were years ago. My mom had a few miscarriages between me and my younger siblings, but went through all the fertility treatments and had 2 sets of twins. Also, my mother in law wasn't even supposed to have one baby because she had maybe 1/3 of one ovary, and she ended up having two. Just put your faith in the science and/or god, whichever you prefer and it will happen.

And to all you people who think adoption is those easy peasy process that happens overnight.... The adoption process can sometimes take //years// depending on where you are adopting from. The first adoption my aunt went though took 3 years, and the current adoption shes going through has so far taken 2 years.

192--- probably because she is putting conditions on it. "I want a baby with blonde hair and blue eyes" means you're going to wait a LOT longer. (just an example, even just saying male or female can make it take longer) The average adoption takes less than 9 months, and costs about $5k-10k

Did you know that you could have actually put that money to use by adopting? 90 grand would have gone a long way for someone who actually wanted kids (obviously you don't or you would have adopted by now). What a waste of money.

All u need to do is start the adoption process or foster process. We had the same problem, decided to foster and bang pregnancy. Only took 11 years to figure that one out.
