Today, my boyfriend asked me how women could urinate with a tampon in. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I decided to make the switch from pads to tampons. My boyfriend ended up having to show me how to apply them. FML
Today, during my boyfriend's family reunion, I started my period but didn't have any tampons. I asked my boyfriend to ask his mom if she had any. I sat on the toilet waiting, then heard him loudly ask his whole family, "Does anybody have a tampon my girlfriend can have?" FML
Wuss
Today, my girlfriend and I got to the stage in our relationship where she thinks its okay to change her tampon whilst I brush my teeth. FML
Corkscrew
Today, I used a menstrual cup for the first time. I couldn't get it out, after what seemed like ages of trying. I had to ask my boyfriend to help me. He'll never look at me the same way again. FML
Today, my boyfriend had to give me an enema. FML
Today, my tampon string was hanging from my bathing suit. My boyfriend thought it was a thread hanging from my bikini bottom. He publicly pulled out my tampon. FML
Today, I had to teach my mother that tampons do not belong in the toilet. FML
PMS
Today, my boyfriend and I took a late night drive, and after a while he stopped at a gas station and asked if I wanted anything. I replied, "Guess." He came out and gave me a box of tampons. Apparently, I've been bitchy. FML
Full blast
Today, I got a text from my boyfriend whilst on the train home from spending the weekend with him at his grandparents' house. It said, "Gran says to tell you that the bin beside the toilet is actually for storing spare shampoos and toothbrushes, so could you not put your tampons in it next time?" FML
Today, while out at dinner with my boyfriend, I accidentally ripped out my tampon picking a wedgie. FML

Women have three holes so that when they get drunk, they can be carried home like a bowling ball.

Some people's children.... are male? did not have a human anatomy course in high school? were sheltered from learning about the human reproductive system? Really, ladies: when men think about your genitals, we tend to think about what we can put into them, not about what comes out of them. To a man who has lived in the United States, and grown in it's 'education' system, it's not unexpected that they (who have never had to experience a period, nor spent inordinate amounts of time watching women urinate) expect women to urinate through the big, obvious opening. The state of our education system is such that it is difficult to teach human anatomy and physiology, and understandably, the excretory process is typically not dealt with in any specific detail. Therefore, unless your boyfriend was a VERY curious child and his mother was very open, I find it hard to believe it could be expected for him to know exactly where your urethra is.

you all got it wrong! tampons are so high-tech that they only soak up blood not urine! so the urine flows right past the tampon. lol haven't you heard of oil sheets in the marine industry? same concept but for blood. lol ps your an idiot if you believe this is true.

so? I'm a woman and my major was biology. and I didn't know that. it's not like you study how tampons work in bio class.

Okay, I do not believe your major was Biology, #160. You may not learn about tampons during your college career in class, but a basic human biology class would teach you that women do not pee out of their vaginas. I was pretty uncomfortable with by body until I was almost 20 and only used tampons then, but I had known since middle school. How can you study biology and not know that?

It's very scary that a Biology major wouldn't know something so basic taught in biology classes. I honestly hope it was you just not paying attention rather than the further degradation of our education system.
