Today, I went to my orthodontist where I was informed that I'll going to the prom, to my brother's wedding, and maybe to university with braces in my mouth. FML

Today, I got my braces off. I also got my tongue pierced. Both by my orthodontist. FML
Today, I got braces fitted. For the next two years, I'll be the most handsome guy on earth. FML
Today, I got a date for Valentine's Day. The date is with my orthodontist; he's going to tighten my braces. FML
Today, I went to see my orthodontist. He informed me that I have an underbite and I will probably need braces again. I just had them taken off last year, after five and a half years of oral hell. FML
Today, I got hit in the mouth with a hockey stick and lost four teeth. Yesterday I got my braces of six years removed. FML
Today, I got my lip pierced. By the orthodontist. FML
Today, I'm looking forward to my orthodontist's appointment more than I'm looking forward to my birthday. FML
Today, I went to the orthodontist's to get my braces tightened, and I chose baby blue bands. Turns out they make my teeth look extremely yellow. Only a month and a half to go. FML
Today, I have an orthodontist's appointment, and I told my best friend that I was going to get my teeth fixed. She replied, "Wow, thanks. Your smile's really awful to have to look at." FML
Today, I just got back from school with my mouth feeling like a bomb site, and also very hungry. I just got my braces installed yesterday, and I have to wear them for 18 months. I can barely eat anything solid, which means I will be hungry more often. It's going to be an awesome 18 months trying to focus on school! FML

Having braces doesnt suck.. its normal. But what is GOING to suck is actually wearing them. It HURTS like hell .. your lips get BROKEN inside the mouth. The pain lasts for a week. And then every time u meet orthodontist (every month) its going to hurt AGAIN .. for some days. .. I have braces :D

Invisalign only works for touch-ups, it doesn't work like braces.

not for everyone. I like getting my braces tightened, it feels kind of good. and my teeth were only sore for about 2 days after. and my braces never cut up my cheeks or my lips. BUT.. what does hurt like HELL is getting springs. it was the worst pain I've ever been in, and I've burned all the skin off of my arm. it feels like they're slowly wrenching your jaw off. it hurts SO bad, and it hurt for like a week. ow.
