Today, I went to break up with my psychotic bitch of a girlfriend after months of abuse. When she opened the door, her 5-year-old son ran up to me, smiling and calling me "DADDY!" for the first time. Now I don't have the heart to dump the psycho and devastate her son. FML

If she is abusive towards you, I would have to wonder if her 5 year old is enduring the same thing? If so, I'd say get out of the relationship and look into ways of getting her help.

If you're unhappy, get out the of the situation. Keeping her son happy isn't worth the cost of your happiness

Do it, do it NOW. It's like ripping a bandaid off...

Staying in an unhappy relationship will hurt him more. She made him say that to manipulate you into staying. This is abuse, you do need to leave.

It's better to end it now. He'll just get more attached to you, and then it'll be even harder for him.

She probably coached him.

She may have coached her son to say that. And you staying in an abusive relationship isn't healthy for anyone, including her son, who will see how you react to it and learn from the example the two of you are setting. Speaking as someone who just recently got out of an abusive relationship, LEAVE. It's what's best for everyone.

Run into that house, bring a colt 45 with you, cap the bitch, capture the kid move to mexico and enjoy life with your son!!

Man, leave that bitch. I can pretty much guarantee that she told the kid to do that.

You should report her to the police, man. She may be hurting her son as well.
