Today, I went on a trip to DC. When I got back I found out my car was stolen. Apparently they didn't know how to drive a stick because it was only 4 blocks from my house and the engine was blown. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I went out to my car to run some errands. It wouldn't start. I called AAA, only to find out my battery wasn't dead, it was stolen. FML
Sticky situation
Today, I drove all the way to another state and dealt with Chicago traffic on the way just to learn to drive stick. I couldn't learn, because the truck was suddenly unavailable, and when it was available again, whoever had it last lost the keys. Guess I gotta make another trip. FML
Today, I finally got enough money to buy the car I wanted for a year now. It was stolen today too. I had my car for 4 hours. FML
Stop! Thief!
Today, during my work shift, my car got stolen and I had to walk home on the rain. While I was walking home, my stolen car drove by. FML
Today, I woke up to the sound of my car being stolen. FML
Today, my car was stolen. From my driveway. By the guy who sold it to me. FML
Today, my car got stolen. While I was standing ten feet away from it. FML
Oddly specific thief
Today, my car was broken into. What was stolen? My steering wheel. FML
Conked out
Today, I went to drive my mom's car for a change. It wouldn't start, so I open the hood. Someone had stolen the battery. I go to start my own car so I can drive to the police station to report the theft, and discover someone siphoned off my gas. FML
Today, I was woken by the news that my car had been found, but was completely destroyed due to a fire. I didn't even know my car was missing. FML

Manual is the best way to go. I drive one and my whole family drives one. It's more fun and more economical. Automatic cars are boring and just put me to sleep... And dude, i'm from America, and we're not all fat. I've been stuck around 120 pounds for the past 5 years and i'm 20. And we're not all ignorant douchebags like we're made out to be... I personally don't think that America is "the greatest country on Earth", saying that is just plain ignorant. In some ways it's better than others, and in other ways it's worse then others. Look, I like America, but i'm not one of those people that gets a hard-on every time someone mentions it. And this is my first time replying to someone elses post so I hope I pressed the right reply button.

Well, on the up-side a blown engine is better than a missing car.

I am so tired of the bogus "don't know how to drive a stick and the motor is blown" FML's. If you don't know how to drive a stick, you'll kill the motor - you won't blow the motor!!! I call Shenanigans!

epic fail on the theive's part. if they didn't know how to drive a stick, why bother trying to steal the car? unless it was a nice one?

Why does everyone turn everything into an America argument? You wouldntve won WWII without us and we wouldntve won without you guys. I mean seriously who cares? Ok I don't know about you but my cars used to get from point a to b so I don't care how it feels. Automatics have more than enough control if you can drive.

You know the WW II argument is absolutely invalid at this point? Also, I doubt you personally fought there, so 'we' isn't right either. Replay WW II with the people there are now, and we'd all be screwed. I used to look up to the US when I was younger, but it's really getting worse all the time.

The engine isn't going to blow if someone doesn't know how to drive a stick it will just burn up the clutch...

Another reason why stick shift is better than auto shift!

That's funny actually... At least you don't have to replace the whole car, right?
