Today, I went on a 7-hour plane flight. For 3 hours I had a bloody nose. When it finally stopped, I sneezed. It started to bleed again. FML

Today, I got a nosebleed. For 7 hours. I ended up in the ER. FML
Today, I had a cold and was vomiting. I sneezed really hard, smacking my nose onto the toilet seat. I woke up a few minutes later with my nose bleeding, painful, and still stuffy. FML
Today, I had a sneezing fit in the middle of the night, like 10 really great big sneezes, but then it was over and I went back to sleep. I got up this morning and turned the light on, and turns out I’d been sneezing blood over everything, the bed, walls, carpet, furniture, clothes, everything. FML
Today, on the drive to church, I got a nosebleed. Not so bad, until I sneezed and splattered myself and my fiancé with blood, snot, and eventually tears. FML
Today, after days of nasal congestion, I stifled a sneeze. It went out my nose, blowing out a massive spray of green gunk, streaked with blood. This happened at a meeting, splattering the table in front of me with green bloody mucus. The other attendees looked horrified and one ran to vomit. FML
Today, I was on my way to work. Out of nowhere, my period started. Due to allergies, I had uncontrollable sneezes. Now, I have blood all over my pants. FML
Today, I was sitting next to a lady on an airplane who was very overweight. She fell asleep on me, and violently bled from her nose upon take off and landing. FML
Today, I gave blood. He sneezed while he stuck the needle in my arm. FML
Today, I fell violently ill half an hour into a flight. I got sick so suddenly that I projectile vomited all over my clothes and the seat in front of me, and to top it all off, I also got diarrhea. Eight more hours to go. FML
Today, I parked in the parking lot at work feeling like I had to sneeze. As I was walking in, the sneeze finally came. Apparently, my nose was bleeding so when I sneezed, blood got all over the floor and my brand new work clothes. FML

This happened to me, as well... I have massive nosebleeds from a bundle of capillaries called a hymangioma (can't spell it, sorry). Flying in a plane can seriously irritate it. It happened for nearly 4 hours on & off during my honeymoon flight. Use some moisturizing nasal spray next time.

I'll let you in on a little trick, Afrin and cotton balls. When your nose starts bleeding, spray your nostril three times with the Afrin and jam a cotton ball up it to dam the blood. after five to ten minutes, pull the cotton ball out and repeat.

At altitude you are more likely to get a nose bleed and if you do get one or any cut it will bleed more than normal due to the pressure "pushing out" the blood. Nothin to worry about. :)

Whoa.. If your nose bleeds more than 20 mins youre supposed to see a doctor for too much blood loss
