Today, I was written up at work and sent home 20 minutes into my shift. My boss thought I was under the influence of something, but it’s really just the first time I’ve come to work with no makeup on. FML
Today, I decided not to wear any makeup. I got told 13 times at work that I looked ill. FML
Today, I had a morning shift at the restaurant and didn't feel like wearing makeup. I was energetic and greeted everyone happily, but my manager told me I looked tired. I said, "Oh no I'm just not wearing makeup!" He said, "Well, you might need it." FML
Today, all of my friends and teachers asked me what was wrong because I looked sad and tired. One kid even said that I looked like "an abused housewife the day after." I was fine. It was the first time I went to school without wearing any makeup. FML
Today, I decided to go all-natural and go to work without any makeup on. My boss swore I was on drugs, which I guess had absolutely nothing to do with the completely "random" drug test I had to take later in the day. FML

Today, my boss commented on the fact that I don't usually wear makeup, then told me it would be much appreciated if I'd change that. FML

Today, my boss's husband came over to our office, and as a by the way comment told our boss my make-up looks good and suits me. The thing is, I've never worn make-up to work, and obviously, he never told his wife, my boss, that she looks good with make-up on. I'm fucked. FML
Today, for the first time, I decided to just be myself at work. My boss thought I was drunk. FML

That must mean you usually put a lot of makeup on. Makeup is meant to only enhance your beauty, not create a totally fake beautiful mask.

Most people who normally wear makeup look tired without it. But I'm sure if you had explained the situation, he would have been really embarrassed and let you stay.

How much makeup do you normally wear? Because it's kind of hard to look like a new person when you aren't wearing makeup unless you cake a bunch on everyday.

that's not true, even a little eye liner and some mascara can make a huge difference and I wouldn't consider that to be "caking" it on.
