Today, I went into labor and got my husband drive me to the hospital. Instead of staying by my side, he rushed back home for a World of Warcraft raid. His excuse? His friends were counting on him and they'd be pissed if he let them down. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I went into labor with my first child, and as much as I pleaded, I had to wait for my husband to finish his raid in World of Warcraft before he'd take me to the hospital. FML
Today, my boyfriend forgot to pick our son up from daycare. His excuse? Fighting in a battle in World of Warcraft was far more important and he had to stay absolutely focused. Our son had to wait for two hours. FML
Loyalty
Today, it was my two year anniversary with my boyfriend. As we were about to exchange gifts, he got a call and said he had to go home immediately. What was the emergency? His guild leader couldn't find another healer to finish a raid and promised my boyfriend gear if he would step up. FML
Today, I begged my husband to take me to the ER cause my stomach hurt so bad I thought I was gonna die. He told me to go sit on the toilet and stop being a drama queen. I drove myself to the hospital just in time for my appendix to burst. I almost died because my husband was busy playing Xbox. FML
Today, my fiancé nervously sat me down for a "serious chat". The chat wound up with him asking if we could postpone our wedding, because his World of Warcraft guild had a raid scheduled for the same day. FML
Game on
Today, I realized that my husband has a video games addiction. I am currently pregnant; he brought us to the same country he's in so we can finally live together, only for me to witness him being glued to his laptop all day and all night playing WoW. He's forgotten I even existed. FML
Today, my husband went in for surgery and handed me an important document. It wasn't a will or anything similar, but a list of items and gold he wanted passed on to guild members on World of Warcraft. FML
Let that sink in
Today, I was rushed to the hospital to deliver my child. On the way, I called my husband who was in a bar with his friends. Drunk, he just yelled, "BROS BEFORE HOS!!" and hung up. FML
Today, I had to explain to my son that his dad was too busy in a raid on World of Warcraft to be at his award ceremony. FML
Today, my husband was 45 minutes late to our wedding reception. Later, when I asked him why, he said, "I was playing Legend of Zelda and had to finish my quest." He thinks this is an eligible excuse. FML

Sounds like your baby needs a step dad

You can always have another kid. But that WoW raid will never happen again.

My now ex husband let the dogs defecate on the carpet because he was in a raid and couldn't take them out. He then left it there of four hours until I came home from a 12hr shift. He didn't have a job. FML

ydi.... sorry but you knew he would put that game before you. this clearly wasnt the first time he has skipped out on an event for that game. time to talk about priorities or leave him. if you havent expressed how important being a parent is then he will continue this behavior. seems like common sense but when people get wrapped up in those games they forget about the real world.... time for his reality check

If it makes you feel any better, the vast majority of WoW players aren't that stupid. I've played for seven years, raided hardcore for about four, and anyone in any guild I was ever in would have screamed at him and kicked him out of the raid if they'd found out.

It would be impossible to overstate how unacceptable this is. I honestly consider this a divorcable offense. I'd seriously require him to delete his WoW account or hit the road.

How did you not find out that WoW is more important to him than real life until it was time for you to birth the spawn? There were no signs before you married that he was a gamer? Or is this a recent addiction of his? Either way, you have to let him know that he let you down when he couldn't be bothered to be on hand for the birth of his kid, you are royally pissed off, and he needs to get his head screwed on straight.

With my first my fiance didn't leave my side other than to use the restroom for the 4 days i was in there. i told him that she wasn't gonna come shooting out and my mom lives 5 min from the hospital so he could have slept in a real bed there but nope. With this one (#2) there might be a Final Fantasy game coming out on my due date so assuming that this kid comes out on time i might be in labor but i told him that as long as he was there for the actual birth i didn't care if he went to go get the game. Now if he doesn't come back after getting said game there will be a shit ton of issues and i'll have my own FML. Anyway congrats on your new bundle of joy OP. ^_^

Final Fantasy Type-0 in march ? Im super stoked already, but mostly because of the FFXV demo. If I were a guy, I wouldnt ditch my wife in labour over it, though :-/

Wow shouldn't ever be at the top of anyone's priority list. I understand that it's fun to people but it only hurts your boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife. And there are people who are addict, they should make a Wow rehab. my own fiance is on wow just about every night......
