Today, I went dirtbiking. While I was going down a hill, I spun out of control and flipped over my handle bars. I now have a sprained arm, multiple bruises and a crescent-shaped gash on my neck that looks like I was bitten. People are asking if my boyfriend and I were being frisky last night. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I fell off my boyfriend's motorcycle. I had a few scrapes and bruises, and my boyfriend called for an ambulance as a precaution. The paramedics managed to drop me on my head. FML
Today, while riding back from a weekend away with my boyfriend, we crashed his motorbike, resulting in us getting thrown over a barbed wire fence into a forest. I woke up in hospital. Apparently, in his adrenaline rush, he climbed back on his bike and continued his trip, forgetting all about me. FML
Today, I fell off my bike. I grazed my knee, shin, thigh, hip, collar bone, shoulder and face. I also strained my wrist. As I was wheeling my bike away, I stung my other leg on nettles. FML
Today, I was sent to the hospital after being hit by a car while on my bicycle. The police officer said it was my fault for not looking, even though the car pulled up without looking. I now have a small herniated disc in my neck and abrasions on my thigh. FML
Today, I was riding my bike along a road and a deer jumped out from the tree line, knocking me to the ground and breaking my arm. Someone pulled over to see if I was alright, running over my bike in the process. FML
Today, I was riding my bike down a road I know is quite hazardous. Having almost been hit in the same spot the day before, I rode across the intersection very satisfied without having been injured. Until I crashed into the guy front of me and flipped over my handlebars. FML
Today, I shattered my ankle while mountain biking with my boyfriend. As I lay writhing on the ground, waiting for the ambulance, he traced the outline of my thigh and said, "You should get this suctioned out while you're in the hospital." FML
Today, my friend and I were racing on our bicycles when my chain snapped. I went over the handlebars and slid, on my back, for about ten feet. FML
Today, I went sledding with my friends. I said I was tired and didn't want to go, but they press-ganged me into it. I ended up sledding right into a tree, fracturing my leg, and scraping up my entire face. FML
Today, I was helping my boyfriend in the garden. When I wanted to break a piece of wood, I lost my balance. Head first against a stone. Result: five stitches in my upper lip, and a loose tooth. FML

How is this a FML? If you dirtbike then you know the risks. Ending up with those kinds of injuries is par for the course surely? But yea, I'm with #1. Just tell them yes.

I was riding one of my longboards down a hill one morning while buzzed and on my way to work and I bit it pretty hard. I have my trucks loose, so that I can turn better on that longboard, but that means I get speed wobble easily. While going down, I could feel I was about to be all kinds of ****** up, but hoped I could at least make it to wear the hill flattened out. I didn't make it. Lost control and nearly did a flip. My left elbow scrapes, my right arm scrapes, I make a hard impact on my right shoulder that looked like a cross between a burn and a gash, and then my head slams really hard into the asphault. Fun times.

i mean, i see how it's FYL b/c if a guy came in w/ bruises no one would ask if his girl "roughed him up in bed." No one would assume that a woman can dirtbike. And besides, having that extensive of injuries should not be from rough sex....

lol #45 you sure seem to have issues with guys and double standards don't you? and i don't know about anyone else on this site but if there isn't some hair pulling, a little biting and some scratches then it hasn't been rough sex. hey, and guess what else i would assume that women can dirt bike. and im a guy. so maybe you're the one being stereotypical?

There's lots of women who can dirtbike... Most motocross racing organizations have a Women's class. And at least you didn't do something more serious... I have a 6 inch staneless steel plate in my left arm due to a crash - now people call me a cyborg :( lol Your bf is lucky to have a gf who is part of such a kickass sport! #1 hit it on the head, say yes!

lol, I have had people ask me questions like that. Paintball you always seem to get hit in the neck and it looks likes someones been kissing your neck.
