Today, I was so drunk that I forgot how to use the key to my front door. But I knew how to break a window, get into my locked basement, and unlock the basement door with my front door's key. FML

Followup for asked questions! I found my phone, wallet and lipstick in the Mailbox. I am 97% sure i smashed the window with the heel of my shoes. And i live alone, so the only explaining i have to do is to my landlord, Jesus, i do not look forward to that. And yes. I am a 22year old girl. Boom

I have a brused elbow, a bruised knee and a few knuckles on my hand are sore and a lot of scratches. Its a very hazy night, and i dont know which injuries are from breaking the window, and which are from climbing in the window and the 1.5 meter fall to the floor, on glass. Next time i am drinking soda...

I always say I'm never drinking again after anything bad happens but I always end up drinking again thinking it will be better this time

I don't think you should be drinking that much op. It's so dangerous. You were drinking so much that you couldn't function properly and don't even remember some of the night. You could've driven your car and hurt somebody or done any number of stupid things, someone could've easily taken advantage of you as well. I hope you'll be more careful next time you drink and that you'll either know your limit or have a non-drunk buddy that will keep an eye on you. Glad you didn't get too hurt or do anything with serious consequences.

So you figured out how to break the window to get into the locked basement, only to unlock said basement with what you thought was a front door key only to realize you didn't need to break the window in the first place? Good luck explaining that to the landlord. I had a hard enough time trying to explain/remember how vomit got on the ceiling from the couch in my most epic drunken escapade

There's adult activities, and then there's being so drunk that you can't function. She couldn't put a key in a door and unlock it. Being so drunk you can't function is just stupid in my opinion. It's also dangerous because you often do things you don't have control over or don't even remember doing. How is that a good idea??
