Today, I was saying goodbye to my boyfriend before I got on my bus. As I turned to get on, the door closed on my face. I knocked on the door. The driver looked at me, and while still staring at me, drove off. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was getting on a bus, the driver shut the door on me while I was half way inside. Instead of apologizing to me, he criticized me for getting in the way. FML
On time
Today, I was walking towards the bus. The bus was scheduled to leave at 3:20, and it was 3:19 so I decided to run for it. As the doors were closing, I managed to just slip my hand into the door, so it didn't fully close. The bus driver saw this, looked at my face, and then drove away. FML
Today, I was walking on my crutches towards the bus through the rain. The bus driver looked into my eyes, punching the button to close the doors while I was still a few meters away. As he drove off, he kept his eyes on me, while I had to wait for another 15 minutes for the next bus in the rain. FML
Get back here
Today, I was running late and rushing to a waiting bus. I made it to the doors just as they closed. I knocked desperately, hoping the driver would let me in. He hovered his hand over the button for a few seconds, then flipped me off, and drove away laughing. FML
Today, I temporarily got off the bus for the other students to get off, because they push and shove along their way. Then the bus driver closed the door on me and drove off. My laptop was on that bus. FML
Jog on
Today, I was running to the bus stop to catch the bus. The bus driver smiled, waved, and drove away without letting me get on. FML
Bye!
Today, I was on a very crowded bus, standing near the back door. People had to get off at the stop, and being near the door, I had to step off the bus, allowing the people to exit. I was about to enter back into the bus, the door closed and the bus driver took off, leaving me stranded. FML
Today, while I was on the bus, my foot fell asleep. When we arrived at my stop, I stood up and limped to the front of the bus. As I walked down the steps, I tripped, fell, and smashed my nose into the ground. The driver just laughed and drove away. FML
Today, I had to take bus to work, because yesterday my car was hit by a bus. While standing there, I noticed the driver kept looking back at me every now and then. As I went to get off, he looks at me again and says: "Sorry..." FML
Today, ignoring the unspoken rule of not entering the bus when the driver's not inside, I went in while he was taking a break. As I stepped inside, he reached in the window and pressed the "close-door" button. It closed on my hand. Everyone at the bus stop laughed as I yelped in pain. FML

Bus stops are not Love Connections. Get on the ******* bus in the time allotted to you and we won't have to wait for your ass. I hate people like you. You say goodbye before the bus comes, and then get on.

Now that's just mean. Report his/her ass to the transit center, etc. and have your BF there as witness. He/she'll be fired on the spot.

Why am I not surprised this happened in Victoria, Australia? Also, why do people spend 20 minutes waiting for the bus outside a newsagent (where they sell bus tickets), then only buy a ticket from the driver when the bus comes?

You people all suck. Clearly the driver closed the door right as she was about to get on. I really need to stop reading the comments. Half the people on this site are the most disgustingly self important, moralistic, and uncompassionate people on earth.

Wouldn't moralistic imply that we have morals. Morals usually stem from an awareness of the human condition, the soul, and the need to improve themselves. So to day we aren't compassionate, but that we have morals, and live by them, seems almost to undermine your line. Who cares, if you can't handle what we have to say then you need to go back to mommy.

I would have thought you were holding up the bus... Then I saw the location. Metro Melbourne I assume. They do it for fun, tram drivers too. Especially when you run. I'm on your side.

Being a Melburnian too, I have never heard of this. My daily bus driver (ditching the bus this year for train though) always waits for passengers. I liked him, but it started to piss me off when we were running 5 minutes late, and he'd stop and wait for 2 minutes.

Well you're really gonna love the fact that newsagents won't be selling Myki credit since the commissions are so low. They only managed to ink a deal with 7-Eleven after what I would presume a lot of haggling.

YDI for spending too much time playing kissy-face and not enough time on getting your ass on the bus!
