Today, I was leaving work when I realized I had forgotten my bag on my desk. As I went back to get it, I overheard my co-workers talking about "last night's office party." I wasn't invited. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Thanks guys
Today, it was my co-worker's birthday but she told me not to mention it. Feeling bad for her, I went out to buy her a card, a present, and even a small cake. It turns out that there was actually a party during our lunch break, and I was the only one in our office not invited. FML
No, not you
Today, I found out my co-workers don't actually like me when they changed the hangout spot after accidentally inviting me. FML
Today, I got an invitation to the "Going away lunch" the company is throwing for me. I didn't know I was leaving. FML
Today, I was uninvited from my own birthday party. FML
Oh, by the way…
Today, I accidentally left the tag on the new pants that I wore to work. Nobody had brought it to my attention for the whole day until finally, before I was about to go home, every single employee and my boss let me know by yelling in unison and laughing as I left the building. FML
Today, I went to work in my best outfit for the big corporate party we were having later in the day. When I arrived, my boss said, "You missed one hell of a party yesterday!" Shit. FML
I'll get my coat
Today, I was sleeping when my roommate walked in and asked me, "So… when are you leaving?" She had decided to throw a party in our apartment. I wasn't invited. FML
Today, my friends decided to throw a going away party because I'm moving. It would have been great if I had actually been invited. FML
Today, I was invited to a party. Since I rarely get invited to any, I was super pumped. Both my parents work late, so I texted a couple of people to see if I could catch a ride. It turned out everyone's cars were full. I ended up missing one of the only parties I've ever been invited to. FML
Today, all my friends had a huge party and 'forgot' to invite me. They only remembered about me at 2 am when they called asking for rides home because they were all too drunk to drive. FML

Office parties are just chances for awkward situations to happen between people you're stuck seeing everyday. Better off you didn't go OP

I don't think the problem was wanting to go to a party, but rather learning that one's coworkers don't want to be around the OP. That's never fun to hear.

I agree with #12, point is if you're not invited to an office party and people went out of their way to not mention the part at all ... Yea they don't like you

No one WANTS to hear they are "too uncool" to go to a party, even if it was a political party.

The difference made to your life when you are working in a really happy and friendly environment is astounding. Now you know that you just aren't personally appreciated where you work, start looking around for a new job if possible. You won't look back! :)

Lucky you. It was probably lame.

Yes, but did you get your bag? I hate when people don't finish their story.

Sometimes it's best if you let things like this roll off your back, OP. I bet you're a really awesome person to hang with. **** 'em.
RedPillSucks 33
I believe "**** 'em" happened at the party, so OP is double out of fun.

Yeah, I agree. #13 - I believe in you. Work is for working, so if you don't have a social life there, no big deal. You have a social life at home, I suppose. Maybe if you tell your friends to send the emails for you to your work email, coworkers might get jealous and invite you, OP. But hey, **** 'em! If that doesn't work, just roll with the punches.

#41 Y-you believe in me? :D
