Today, my dad came up behind me with a pair of scissors, and pretended to snip away at my hair. I was sure he was joking, so I just sat there and didn't react. Later, I felt the back of my head and looked at my hand. Suffice it to say, I now have a large bald patch on the back of my head. FML

Today, I decided to bleach my hair but then my mom got mad and put my hair in a bun after helping bleach it. Mind you, it is currently blonde orange and black and I don't think it worked, and my hair is fried. FML

I have a feeling we've started a "correct-and-prove-each-other-wrong" thing. Anyhow, I know that my dad would react similarly if I came home with a new haircolour. You'll find it's rather wise to inform your parents about changes like these.

I was worried you might think that, since we disagreed on another FML too. But seriously, I want to know why OP deserved to get attacked because she didn't tell her dad she was going to dye her hair. It's not like she got a nipple piercing or a huge tattoo.

My highschool teacher got arrested because his wife didn't recognize him when he shaved his beard off. It had been like 20 years since, so I don't blame her.
