Today, I was at work at Panera. A blind woman came in, ordered, and said other blind people were going to come in soon, because they were having a meeting. Later, a man came in and asked if any other blind people had showed up. I told him there was just one in here wearing a blue shirt. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Deception
Today, I went out to a restaurant to meet a girl that I met online. When I arrived, I texted her and she said she was wearing a blue shirt. The only person that was wearing anything blue was a fat man smiling in the corner. FML
Today, my friend and I were in a hallway talking while a man kept walking by and turning around. I then asked him "WHAT are you LOOKING for!". It was a blind man. FML
Classic blunder
Today, I went on a blind date that my friend set up at a coffee shop. I arrived early, feeling nervous but excited. As I sat waiting, I noticed a person waving at me from across the room. I smiled and waved back, only to realize that they were actually waving at someone behind me. My date never showed up. FML
Today, I found out that the blind man I've been helping for months at the grocery store by carrying his shopping around and stuff was actually faking his blindness. FML
Today, I was sitting in the restaurant waiting for my blind date to come. I had sat for an hour until I finally got fed up and went to leave when at the same time the guy at the table next to me stood up to leave too. I noticed he had been sitting alone. Turns out he was my date. FML
Today, I went to the mall. While shopping in a store, a woman bumped into me numerous times. Getting annoyed, I turned to her and loudly exclaimed, "Are you blind?!" Turns out she was. FML
Can't you see?
Today, I was working at a restaurant. This guy comes up to the counter and asks if he could have some toothpicks. I told him they were right in front of him. He said, "Sorry, I'm blind." Thinking it was a joke, I laughed until he said, "No, seriously." FML
Today, while my mother's blind friend was waiting in our kitchen for my mom to come home, I thought it would be funny to talk to her in the nude. Turns out she's only blind in one eye. FML
Brainbox block
Today, a woman from my office called, asking who was in. Only one other woman was in the office. I couldn't remember her name, so I had to awkwardly guess random names while both women listened, obviously aware of what was going on. FML
Today, I went on a blind date at a local restaurant. When my date walked in, she took one look at me, said "Nope", and walked out. FML

At least you didn't say "Yeah, can't you see them over there by that poster?"

Why would blind people meet up like that? I dunno, just seems weird to me. It also seems like you were kinda baited into that one. So, yeah, not a problem. It would have been bad if he said, "Where is she?" and you said, "She's over there, can't you see her?" That would have been fml.

Which Panera do you work at?

#46, that is possibly the weirdest comment I've read on here. Yes, it's understandable the poster said what he/she said without thinking, but can't see how he/she was "baited" into it... how else was the second blind person going to a) establish if any of the group had arrived and b) find them without asking for assistance? I guess he could have stood at the door and yelled out for the blind group, but that would be somewhat embarassing when he could just ask for help from an employee... and why would a blind group not meet up "like that"? I don't get it.

LOL! I've had that happen before! (I'm blind and I use a guide dog). Word of advice next time: Take the person's name down so when the rest of their blind friends come, you can say "Oh, yeah, you looking for Joe Shmoe?" and take them to their friend. Whatever you do, never say "He's over there." I have no idea where the heck "over there" is. Hope you learned something :)

For all the people saying "This isn't an FML", FML.com isn't about stuff that ruins your life; it's about funny moments that happened during someone's day. Sit back and enjoy the stories. This also goes for all those that say "fake!!!" on other stories
