Today, I was at McDonald's. As I left the counter with the food, I heard the cashier mutter, "Fat ass." I turned around and demanded to see the manager. Once he came and heard the situation, he looked at me and said, "Well, it's not like he's wrong, right?" FML

Today, I was sitting in McDonald's. A lady came up to me and started complaining about the bad service, and asked for the manager. I told her that I didn't work there. "But you must, someone that fat has to work here!" FML
Today, I asked a girl at the restaurant I work at if she'd had enough to eat. When she said yes, I said, "Are you sure?" I didn't realize how insulting it sounded until her equally overweight mom was up in my face, demanding to see my manager. FML
Today, while checking out a couple at work, I handed them their receipt and wished them a good day. The woman promptly pulled her husband to the side, and whispered to him about how much of a "fucking idiot" I was for making the prices so high. I work at McDonald's. FML
Today, as usual, I worked at McDonald's. Although I tried to diffuse the situation, an old man was absolutely furious, and punched me in the face over BBQ sauce. FML
Today, I was working the drive-through at McDonald's. I greeted a customer with a, "Hi, how are you doing today?" His response: "Better than you." FML
Today, I was at work at McDonald's, at the front counter when an elderly lady came up to me and whispered, "I just shit everywhere in your restroom," then turned around and walked out the door. FML
Today, I saw a man help an elderly lady with her tray at the local McDonald's. I wanted to do something nice for him, so I added a couple extra nuggets in his meal. He later came up to me and told me I was dumb and didn't know how to count, and that was why I was working at McDonald's. FML
Today, I noticed I was overcharged at a fast food place, so I asked the cashier to correct it. He got an attitude, so I asked for the manager. The next thing I know, some dude shoved me, yelling, "Shut the fuck up Karen." I fell and hit my head. People in line laughed and cheered. FML
Today, I was taking a table's order. After I finished, the guy told me, "Just FYI, I'm not a tipper." Trying to lighten up the situation, I replied, "It's amazing how many people forget I handle their food." He complained to the manager that I'd threatened him. FML
Today, working at a fast food restaurant, I was berated by a customer for a good two minutes. It's okay though because she ended with, "Sorry, I forget you all are real people." FML

I think it was the 4 Big Macs, 3 large fries, 8 apple pies, and 2 ice creams that tipped them off. Oh, and the Diet Coke.

No matter how big OP’s order really was and no matter whether OP is obese or not, the comments by the cashier and his manager were simply unprofessional.

I was at Wendy's once in the drivethru and the employee was my peer in highschool who didn't like me so he decided to spit in my burger, and sabotage my soda by putting a combination of sodas and cofee in their to piss me off. I called the manager and reported him and I called corporate to make sure he never works their again. He was thankfully fired because I called corporate and they told the manager to do so. Point being don't let this kind of stuff get away just call corporate and they will take care of it.

being someone who works at a McDonalds', that would be an insta firing if any of my managers heard an employee saying that and the fact that a manager agreed with him too? see if you can get in contact with the owner if not, then i don't know what else to do

Wtf! I'm so sorry. When I hear about people who are so rude like this I lose a little more faith in humanity. Just think of it this way... Their lives are so void they project it onto others. Stay positive.

Anyone who thinks it's ok to hurt someone else based on their looks is silly and shallow. You know the saying, "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all?" Some of us learned this in kindergarten, along with please and thank you, etc. What he said was unkind, uncalled for, disrespectful, unprofessional and shows what kind of person he really is. Ugly inside. Just like a lot of posters on this site.

oh wow... whether you're on the heavier side or not, and no matter what the reason no business has the right to treat someone that way. make a note of the store number and call corporate and complain.
