Today, I talked to my ex on AIM after not speaking to her since we broke up two years ago. The conversation lead up to her asking how I feel about her. So I poured my heart and soul out to her, because I still love her. She immediately logged off. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I had a rare phone call from my ex-girlfriend. We ended up talking for hours about old times. It was the best conversation we have had in forever, it made me miss her and miss us. Later on in the day, she called back asking what we talked about. She was too high too remember. FML
Today, I was in an online chatroom speaking to this girl that I really hit it off with. She then confided in me that she'd recently been dumped by her boyfriend and that he was a jerk. A little while later, we exchanged photos. It was my ex. FML
Today, my date and I went to the movies. After the date, we were both on an instant chat room at our homes. Her personal message displayed "I think I love my ex again." FML
Today, I found out my ex had been writing about our relationship to Postsecret. Apparently, she'd been sorry and wanted me back if I still loved her. I have absolutely no idea what she's talking about. I left after 8 months of unreturned texts, calls, emails, and meet-ups. FML
Today, I got spammed and bitched at by my ex-girlfriend from high school because she found out I didn't even have feelings for her. It was 3 years ago. FML
Today, my girlfriend was feeling a little down, so I tried to console her. She said she just needed space and I respected that. Then an hour later she was fine, so I asked how she did it. She replied that she talked to her ex for a whole hour. This is a common procedure. FML
Today, I told the girl I've been seeing for a while about the strong feelings that I have for her and that I was falling in love. She told me my words made her realize what it felt like to be in love. My words were so powerful, in fact, that she ran right back into the arms of her ex boyfriend. FML
Today, I spoke to my ex again for the first time after our breakup. The first words out of his mouth were, "I love you, so I'm going to have to confess some things in the hopes that my honesty will help us get back together." It didn't, but it does mean I have to get tested now. FML
Today, I talked to my high school sweetheart after 12 years. He confessed that he's been single ever since we broke up, never got over me, and that to this day he loves me dearly. I'm a married mother of two. FML
Today, my ex, whom I haven't seen in two years, contacted me. She was great company back in the day, wild in bed, the most attractive person I've ever dated, and totally uninterested in a serious relationship. She wants me to fix her computer. FML

Your not alone, today my ex texted me and I sent her a clear message that I'm here for her if she ever needs it, no response. She read it :p

I don't understand all the YDI's...are you guys actually READING the whole thing? OP states his ex ASKED HIM how he felt about her. Therefore that should've opened her up to many potential responses. And for the people saying "What do you expect after two years of no contact", so what? I had a boyfriend freshman year of high school. Yes I know, too young and dumb at the time to have a real relationship, but we did have an impact on each other. We both said some things, we both did some things, we both hurt each other. We didn't talk for almost three years, he occasionally kept trying to get ahold of me to make peace but I kept ignoring him out of fear of being hurt again. Finally I decided to accept his peace offering. Next thing I knew, we were back together and this time the relationship was far much stronger as we'd had time apart and time to mature a little bit. I'm happy to say that he's now my fiancé and we're happy as can be. With that being said, I do hope everything worked out for you guys, OP. :)

I think it's that they poured their heart and soul out. If they had just said, "I still love you" it wouldn't be a problem, I think. But it sounded more like they was going on and on about how they loves her, needs her, can't live without her, etc. and she felt uncomfortable with this sudden spam of love. To me, it sounds a bit creepy that they haven't spoken in two years and they pour out their heart and soul.

The more you show interest, the less most women usually care. if you really wanted her back you should haven't poured your heart out after not talking for 2 years. instead play games with her like playing hard to get , etc. that usually makes some women want the man.
