Today, I saw my boyfriend for the first time in a while. When he came over we realized that we had not only gotten the same haircut, but we were also wearing the same sweater. We are a matching old couple at 17. FML

Today, it was only as my boyfriend met my dad for the first time that I realised how alike they are. Same opinions, same dress sense, same moustache and beard, same height and body shape, similar jobs and cars, and they support the same rugby team. They got on like a house on fire as soon as they met. FML
Today, I bought a rather unique shirt for my boyfriend, planning to give it to him for Christmas. He showed up wearing the same shirt. This isn't the first time this has happened. FML
Today, I had my hair done for the first time in 3 years. I loved it. My boyfriend told me I look like his ex. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I went to a furniture store. We split up for a bit, and after a while I went to find him. A salesman noticed I seemed to be looking around for him and said, "Oh, your son is upstairs." We're the same age. FML
Today, as I was walking out of a restaurant with my boyfriend, I saw some guys checking me out. One of them walked up to my boyfriend and said, "Dude, you and your girlfriend have matching moustaches!" FML
Today, after I searched for three months and found the coolest jacket and was stoked, my fiancé and our guy friend both ordered the same jacket so we can all match. FML
Today, I went on a first date with a guy I met online. I arrived early and waited for him for over an hour. When he finally showed up, he was wearing the exact same outfit as me. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend I was getting him the “best surprise ever” for our anniversary. It turns out that we'd had the exact same idea, and bought each other the same pair of matching socks with each other's faces on them. I guess we both got the same damn ad in our Instagram feeds. FML
Today, my bartender noticed my new haircut before my live-in boyfriend did. FML
Today, my mum and I were walking down a road where we met an old neighbour who recently got divorced. Her son who we hadn't seen for about 10 years was with her and he looked very handsome. I said, "oh wow ! your son has grown up so much !" The woman replied, "this is my boyfriend." FML

That's adorable. My boyfriend and I actually bought the same shirts from Threadless on accident. It doesn't mean much though. It just means you have the same/similar tastes. However, sweaters are a tad bit different than matching shirts, and haircuts can be subjective.

This is the lamest thing I have ever read. Just because you guys are wearing the same sweater does not automatically imply you guys are married. There are hundreds of YOUNG couples wear matching clothes, but unlike you OP they don't think their life is f^cked up. Get over yourself. Your life is not "oh so bad" all because of the same haircut and sweater. I am surprised as to why this was even allowed to be posted.

How is this being like an old married couple? I see lots of young couples intentionally wearing couple shirts or the same colors. It's adorable in a way. I don't care what hair you have since I don't judge people's hair, but umm.....this isn't really something go all fml about =_=
