Today, I realized I need a new job. This happened when I was seriously considering ways to break my leg so I could stay at home for a day and not have to deal with my boss. FML

Today, I discovered that the pain I've had for the past couple of weeks was actually due to a broken collar bone. Now work won't pay for the treatment I need because I continued to work despite the pain. FML
Today, I had to quit my dream job, due to an injury I received at work over two months ago not fully healing. Not only do I really need the money, I’ll never find something I love doing so much, or a better group of coworkers. FML
Today, I have to choose between getting a new job and losing my health insurance as a result, or staying unemployed and being evicted. Did I mention that I am unemployed due to severely breaking my leg with no legal recourse? FML
Today, I fell down my backyard steps at my own housewarming party, ended up breaking my ankle, and am now non-weight bearing for 10 weeks. I'm supposed to start a new job tomorrow, where I'm always on my feet. FML
Today, I decided to start jogging and exercising, so I had a wonderful workout before work. Then I broke my foot at work. Goodbye exercising. FML
Today, I realized that I needed a new job when I had to take anti-anxiety medication before meeting with my boss. Last time we met, I had a panic attack. FML
Today, after working two jobs and saving constantly this year all for a month-long solo vacation traveling to 7 countries, I arrived in first one. Within three hours I fell and broke my foot, forcing me to come home in fear of needing surgery. FML
Today, I called into work because I was too tired to keep my eyes open. My boss berated me over the phone, saying I should be more like that other employee who came in with a broken toe. That was me. FML
Today, I seriously considered stepping in front of a car so that I could miss a few days of work. FML
Today, I got hired and now I have to work. FML

23, his profile says he's 17 (although he could be lying, but I won't jump to conclusions). However I agree with your point. After all, it's likely that a person will spend a large portion of their (adult) life at work. It would suck if you couldn't stand the job.

just because it's a job, doesn't mean you can't enjoy it. that's why there are a multitudes of jobs. my father enjoys working with food, my boyfriend is interested in law enforcement, and I enjoy the medical field. that's why we focus on those areas. if people chose jobs on interest rather than pay, people might enjoy life a little more.

Okei now I'm curious, how do you know what kind of job OP is doing, so that you can say he must go to school again to get a "real" better job?

OP might have a degree and works in a specialised field, of which jobs are limited. Doesn't mean they have to go back to school. I left school at 16, college at 17 and I'm on my second IT job, earning more than my friends are now in debt by at university. You don't need school for a decent job per se, there are other ways to get into work.
