Today, I popped a zit and I went to put my acne medicine on it. It's in a clear bottle with a blue cap, just like the nearby nailpolish remover. I grabbed the wrong one. FML

Today, I was trying to apply some toothpaste on my pimple to help dry it out. My mum came from behind and hugged me, making me accidentally apply minty toothpaste into my right eye instead. FML
Today, I broke my nose trying to pop a zit. FML
Today, I popped a zit that had formed around an ingrown hair "down there". It popped with so much force, the pus hit me in the forehead. Still can't get the hair out. FML
Today, my girlfriend helped me apply liquid bandaid over an open wound. Unfortunately, she grabbed the liquid wart remover instead. FML
Today, as I was doing my make-up, I needed a Q-tip to fix a mistake. I took one out the box and put it in my mouth to get it wet. Too bad someone had used it before to clean their ears. FML
Today, I woke up to find that not only did the toothpaste I put on my pimple make it more noticable, but it made it worse. FML
Today, as I peeled a now soggy Band-Aid off my finger, I discovered that in the dim light of yesterday evening, I had, with great anxiety, wrapped it around the wrong finger. FML
Today, while I was waiting for an interview, I picked at a something I felt on my chin thinking that it was just some food. I had a good interview, then I got into my car and looked in the mirror, only to see that I had blood smeared all over my chin. Turns out I had picked a zit. No one told me. FML
Today, I got a hand cramp from popping zits on my face. FML

ha there actually is a "correct" way to pop them; wrap two fingers in tissues and gently pressure til all the pus comes put, then put some astringent and neosporin on, to disinfect and prevent scarring. that is today's FML FunFact.

Yowch. Been there done that. Not those exact circumstances, but similar. Mine involved mistaking Worcestershire sauce for cream soda in the middle of the night. Same bottle-shape, -size, -weight, and consistency of liquid.

OOHH... So sorry, OP. just don't pop your ZITS next time. It makes them worse by shoving bacteria down deeper. It also breaks your skin, often leaving a scar. Just use the medicine, if any. Or just wash your face with warm water and a facial cleanser twice a day; morning and night. :) you're perfectly gorgeous just the way you are!
