Today, I vented to my friend about how unhappy I am and how I want to kill myself. What did she say? "Don't do that." That was it. FML
Today, my best friend actually had the audacity to try and one-up my suicide attempt story. FML
Today, I told my mom I loved her and she asked if I was going to kill myself. FML
Today, I was feeling suicidal and needed to talk to someone about it, so I called up the only person in the world who cares about me: my mom. Or so I thought. Her immediate response was, “You should go ahead and end it.” FML
Today, I opened up to my parents about my depression. Their response was to have a very heated discussion about whose fault it was. FML
Today, my friend needed to talk out bad feelings. Then she urged me to open up as well. I hate doing it, but it only seemed fair, so I confessed my deep insecurities. Not only did she agree with everything, but she also helpfully added that I'm boring, have no life, and all my dreams are unattainable. FML
Today, my best friend said we couldn't be friends anymore because I'm too depressed or too happy all the time. After explaining for half an hour what bipolar depression was and how I have it he just said, "Bullshit!" FML
Today, I was texting my friend. He has a history of depression, which we were talking about, and somehow, he turned the conversation to, "If we ever broke up, I would kill myself." I didn't even know we were even going out. FML
Today, I tried to tell my dad that I was really struggling with my mental health and didn't think I could stay alive much longer. He laughed. This comes after telling my "best friend" last week and having to wait three days for a reply. FML
Today, I was diagnosed with depression. My girlfriend's idea of consoling me was to break up with me because she can't date a "psycho". FML

Not surprised you're depressed. You'll find people who care, or maybe see that someone else cares for you already. Good luck to you :) It really does get better.

Reminds me of that Cameron Dallas tweet: "don't be depressed. Smile." Or something like that. People are idiotic. Op, Google your local crisis hotline. They will just listen, crisis or not. Depression is serious and the right people will take it seriously. Look into your mental health resources and -please- use them. Therapy + medication can do wonders.

Oh honey no...No way in hell do best friends wanna see each other go. For example if my best friend committed suicide then shit, now we have two suicide cases cuz I'm going too. That "best friend" needs to be replaced ASAP. It's best to eliminate toxins in your life for the sake of happiness. If you feel the need to commit suicide, call the suicide hotline PLEASE. It's intimidating at first but they're there to listen when you feel like no one else would. I hope you pull through OP.
