Today, I married the beautiful girl I’ve been in love with since we were both 6 years old. By married, I mean I performed the marriage ceremony as the vicar and watched her smile and kiss her arsehole boyfriend, now husband, right in front of me. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Bless
Today, I married the woman I love. I wasn't the groom, I was the minister. FML
With a heavy heart…
Today, I watched my best friend get married to the guy I have been in love with since the eighth grade. I was the maid of honor, and had to give a toast to the couple. FML
Today, my ex-girlfriend proposed to me, at my wedding. FML
Today, I married the love of my life. I was ecstatic until the wedding reception, where my new husband got drunk and started crying about how he'd been "forced" into marrying me. FML
Today, I married the man of my dreams. While I was being driven to our wedding reception, I checked my Facebook. My husband had just updated his status to "Me and the bitch just got hitched." FML
Today, I proposed to a girl I'd been in love with for 6 years. I filled the balcony of the building where I'd first laid eyes on her with innumerable roses and, under the starlit sky, I did it. She later posted on facebook 'OMG. This geek I knew from high school did the FUNNIEST thing today'. FML
Vegas…
Today, I married my best friend in the whole world at a small romantic venue. By that I mean I married my actual best mate while completely hammered at a drive-through wedding chapel. My fiancée is gonna kill me when she finds out. FML
Not such a happy ending
Today, I get to see my best friend and love of my life of two years marry the man she loves. Back then, I lied and told her I was gay to avoid her finding out my feelings for her. FML
Today, I proposed to my girlfriend in front of about 75 people in the fanciest restaurant in town. She told me she was already engaged, while holding up her right hand. FML
Today, it was my wedding day. I gave a speech about the first time my wife and I met. I said I knew she was the perfect woman for me and it was love at first sight. I looked to my right as she stormed off and then realized I had told a story about my ex-girlfriend who was sitting in the crowd. FML

It does suck, but I feel like I have to say this: 1. If you never told her how you felt, what can you really expect? 2. If you did tell her how you felt and she rejected you, you should seriously try to move on. 3. If for some reason it just never worked out despite feelings and efforts on both sides then maybe it was time for you both to find someone else anyway. 4. Why were you performing the ceremony???

Are you allowed to be the one to object when you are performing the ceremony?

5. if her bf really is an arsehole and you're not just jealous, if you've never discussed him before there's really nothing you can do.

I love the wording for this one.

I don't think those lines are usually said in wedding ceremonies anymore. Also, the reasons for why a couple can't be wed have to be legal ones such as one of them is already married or one of them has killed the other's former spouse, not simply because someone is in love with the bride.

Could've been worse. At least you didn't get an awkward boner during the ceremony.

Oh wow, can't imagine how shitty you must feel right now. The best thing to do is to never see her again and try to move on. Can't move on if it triggers that part of you whenever you see her.

Did you ever tell her you were in love with her? If so, FYL. If not, YDI. Now, she might not have reciprocated, but you would have it out there. And is her now-husband really an asshole or is it that you're jealous of him?

Quit complaining , get over it if it took your more than 20 years to make a move and instead stayed in the friend zone you deserve it

To be fair, she isn't obligated to return your feelings of affection, nor are you obligated to perform the ceremony.

Don't worry about it, Padre. There are lots of other people out there. And that number significantly increases if you're a Catholic.

Sorry but what? You're an adult who could choose not to do the ceremony, but you chose to punish yourself by doing it anyway? Dude... maybe it's time to consult the Bible in how to move on
