Today, I managed to accidentally drop an entire cake on my laptop's keyboard. There's so much frosting stuck under the keys, I have no idea how I'm going to clean it out. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I decided to be healthy and drink a tall glass of water whilst doing my assignment that is due in three days. I managed to spill the entire glass over my laptop. I flipped it over and used a hairdryer to dry it off. While doing that, I managed to melt my keyboard. FML
It just gets worse
Today, I woke up to find that my cat had barfed all over my laptop's keyboard and screen, filling each nook and cranny of the stuff. As if that wasn't bad enough, when I went to make coffee to deal with the stress, I found that I was out of coffee. FML
Today, my coworker spilled sticky fruit glaze all over my cake display cake and left it overnight uncleaned. The same display case I spent 2 hours cleaning the day before. FML
Save the Roland Jupiter-8, save the world
Today, I was setting up my keyboard when the stand came loose. The keyboard started to fall, so I tried to save it, held it up in the air, and ended up falling off the stool onto the floor. I’ll feel that tomorrow, but at least the keyboard survived. FML
Today, I found out that you can ruin a $500 computer with a few stray drops of 100% acetone nail polish remover on the keyboard. FML
Today, while working on my laptop, I accidentally spilled a glass of water. I quickly moved my laptop out of the way of the oncoming stream. It fell on the floor and broke. FML
Clanker
Today, I tried to clean my keyboard by turning it upside down and shaking it. Something important apparently fell out, because now the “E” key only works if I smack it hard enough to look like I’m typing angry emails. My coworkers are concerned. FML
Today, I spilled some milk on my laptop. I was pretty sure it would be fine as it was only a bit of milk. While cleaning the residue, I knocked a whole bucket of water into the insides of the laptop. RIP Macbook. FML
cat.exe
Today, I sat down at my computer for the first time in a week, and discovered that my cat had thrown up all over my keyboard. I needed to write up an important document but the chunks were stuck down in the keys, effectively locking it up and making it useless. FML
Poor Despereaux
Today, I baked a cake. After feeding it to my entire family, I opened the stove, planning to temporarily store the cake inside. I then noticed a mouse, burnt to a crisp. FML

It looks like you're in a sticky situation!

While this seems like one of the better scenarios to use this joke, at this point its just batter to not use it at all.

I guess you'll be using sticky keys from now on.

OP could pop the keys off and clean them off and then they won't be a sticky anymore.

It's a joke, as in pressing shift 5 times.

You can buy replacement keyboards for laptops. Pretty easy to install.

You can always replace the keyboard on your laptop, I've had to do that when I spilled a glass of milk on mine. A quick Google search of the model number and keyboard replacement should get you set in the right direction. Good luck!

That's what you get for balancing bottles on your head, cat.

It's simple. Just soak the laptop in lukewarm water for about an hour, and by then the frosting would become easily removable with just a wipe of a towel. -side note- you will need to get a new laptop after this.

It's like that time I had a stain on my shirt, and I used acid to get it out. Then I got a new shirt. It's a win-win. New shirt, no stain.

If they took the battery out and left it dry throughly afterwards this would work fine. The only reason electronics break from water is from short circuiting, which doesn't happen when there is no electricity in the computer.
