Today, I got locked out of a building that I work in (I work night shifts). I locked my phone, wallet, and car keys in the building. I had no way of contacting my boss or getting a ride. I had to walk home at night, almost got hit by a car full of dudes yelling slurs, and had a woman scream at me from the passenger seat of a car. FML

Today, I was at my new store, fixing it up. I was about to leave, so I took my clothes off to let the dirty ones dry, as I had other clothes in my car. I walked to the back of my store and the back door locked. The car was locked. I was in my boxers with no phone and no way to go home for 3 hours. FML

Today, I was in a bathroom stall peeing. Shortly after, I heard a couple enter the bathroom, both extremely drunk. They then had sex standing up against the stall I was in, blocking my only exit. I had to sit, wait, and listen as both parties finished. FML

Ask management to unlock the door so you can retrieve your property. Then it's all on them.

I would have just walked in. They will be too busy to notice, shocked that they were caught(and grab your keys anyway) or will invite you to join in. Either way you will get your keys.

That is when you just walk in there pending they didn't lock the door... Or report it to HR... Tell them to get their kicks at home with their respective spouses...
