Today, I got on a two hour train ride to go to a concert. I had been so caught up in handling the train tickets that halfway to the concert, I realized I had left the concert tickets on my dresser. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I drove 150 miles to see one of my favorite singers in concert. Before I got out of the car I checked to make sure I had the tickets. Did I have the tickets? Yes. Were they for today's concert? Nope. FML
Today, my friend and I drove three hours to attend a U2 concert. We had been psyched about the tickets for weeks because they were awesome seats (my early Christmas present). After a long drive, we get to the venue and I realize in horror that I left tickets at home, on my desk, three hours away. FML
Platform B
Today, I was running late for a train and bought a ticket in a hurry. I got on the wrong train, sat there for twenty minutes, and only realised my mistake when the scenery looked nothing like my stop. FML
Thanks for the memories
Today, it was the concert of my life. I had bought tickets the minute they went on sale, and I'd anxiously waited until the concert date. Thirty minutes before the show, my friend got so drunk that we weren't allowed in, and I was stuck babysitting her all night in the hotel, completely missing the show. FML
Today, my friend and I went to see our favorite band in concert. We walked at least a mile from our parking space and stood in line for two hours. My friend was supposed to have the tickets in her purse. She actually had, but she left her purse in the car. FML
Confused, lost
Today, I missed my train. I was actually on the right platform but realized my mistake two minutes after it had left. FML
Today, my train departed over 10 minutes early. It was the last train of the day. I missed my transatlantic flight and along with it the vacation and concert I'd spent over a year saving for. FML
Today, I had to take the train from my hometown to my university for a very important meeting concerning my foreign exchange program. When I finally arrived, I noticed a Post-it on the door: "Meeting cancelled, sick". I basically made a 9-hour day-trip for a half-an-hour walk. FML
Today, I remembered that the concert I bought tickets for over a month in advance was yesterday. FML
Missing
Today, I was on a business trip with a coworker. We had to wait for the train, so I decided to browse a store in the train station while he waited outside. I then got a message on my phone, from my co-worker saying, "You are somewhere on this train, right?" FML

No need to be a dick, that's basically the point of this site.

So close...yet so far. Maybe you've learned to organize yourself before going on a trip like that.

Ugh! That sucks!! I've forgotten my concert tickets before. Thank goodness there were plenty of scalpers in the parking lot. The gift of bartering automatically kicked in with what some tried to over charge!

I was thinking that! I mean, he did travel 2 hours...might as well see if he can get some new tickets.

That's why you should always double check.

Defiantly.... Definition: in a rebellious manner. Please rethink your stupidity. Please... This world is going to crumble.

YDI for being stupid and not knowing your priorities.

Just because OP forgot their tickets doesn't make them stupid. It just makes them forgetful or very absent-minded.

A.K.A stupid

How can forgetting something means the person is stupid? People forget stuff most of the time. You must be one of those assholes who get on OP's case and insults them over simple stuff like this.

44- an IPhone's auto correct changes definitely to defiantly sometimes. So ease off please, no need for your bitchiness.
