Today, I got on a two hour train ride to go to a concert. I had been so caught up in handling the train tickets that halfway to the concert, I realized I had left the concert tickets on my dresser. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I drove 150 miles to see one of my favorite singers in concert. Before I got out of the car I checked to make sure I had the tickets. Did I have the tickets? Yes. Were they for today's concert? Nope. FML
Today, my friend and I drove three hours to attend a U2 concert. We had been psyched about the tickets for weeks because they were awesome seats (my early Christmas present). After a long drive, we get to the venue and I realize in horror that I left tickets at home, on my desk, three hours away. FML
Platform B
Today, I was running late for a train and bought a ticket in a hurry. I got on the wrong train, sat there for twenty minutes, and only realised my mistake when the scenery looked nothing like my stop. FML
Thanks for the memories
Today, it was the concert of my life. I had bought tickets the minute they went on sale, and I'd anxiously waited until the concert date. Thirty minutes before the show, my friend got so drunk that we weren't allowed in, and I was stuck babysitting her all night in the hotel, completely missing the show. FML
Today, my friend and I went to see our favorite band in concert. We walked at least a mile from our parking space and stood in line for two hours. My friend was supposed to have the tickets in her purse. She actually had, but she left her purse in the car. FML
Confused, lost
Today, I missed my train. I was actually on the right platform but realized my mistake two minutes after it had left. FML
Today, my train departed over 10 minutes early. It was the last train of the day. I missed my transatlantic flight and along with it the vacation and concert I'd spent over a year saving for. FML
Today, I had to take the train from my hometown to my university for a very important meeting concerning my foreign exchange program. When I finally arrived, I noticed a Post-it on the door: "Meeting cancelled, sick". I basically made a 9-hour day-trip for a half-an-hour walk. FML
Today, I remembered that the concert I bought tickets for over a month in advance was yesterday. FML
Missing
Today, I was on a business trip with a coworker. We had to wait for the train, so I decided to browse a store in the train station while he waited outside. I then got a message on my phone, from my co-worker saying, "You are somewhere on this train, right?" FML

Thank you for expressing your true feelings about this situation.

Wow, that sucks OP. Hopefully you were able to get in anyway?
Jeffo193 13
Obviously not, if they let in anyone without a ticket it defeats the purpose of giving out tickets in the first place...
slurshies 11
why would they let him in? just because someone walks up to the door and says 'I have tickets but I forgot them' doesn't mean they actually have tickets. in most places, OP would have no chance at getting in. sorry OP, that's gotta make your day suck :(
Drigr 9
Actually, I think some places will let you give proof of ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets along side with the reciept (from your email).

MrSassypants 34
That was the point. It was an attempt at humour which, obviously now, failed. I bet "ur" a master too, huh?

I broke down on the highway about a mile from warped tour this year. Found some girls that gave me a ride in the back of their truck only to realize I left the tickets in my broken down car.

That's a perfect "FFFFUUUUUUUUUU" moment.
CallMeMcFeelii 14
Nope that moment came when the cops called my cell number I left in the window to come move it or they would tow it haha.

Dude...you could walk a mile in under 15 minutes. That's not so bad. Better than a 2 hour train ride away.

I was going to Warped Tour when I left the tickets at home! Haha ef our luck.
CallMeMcFeelii 14
Oh dude I totally feel for you! I got to see Chelsea grin and anti flag so that alone made me happy.

Hiimhaileypotter 53

Jeffo193 13
Well, it was kinda your fault, but i don't think you deserve it...could happen to anyone

Rule 1 of going to big concerts. ALWAYS make sure you bring tickets. Think tripple checking is enough? Think again! Your tickets MUST be in your hand as you leave the house!
TriflingAllDay 6
Until a huge gust sweeps by and takes the night right out of your hand.
nabee26 15
And the night before, you should put signs up in your bedroom, bathroom and one in the car reminding you to take your tickets. Problem solved! :)
Quinn32 16
Tape a sign across your windshield and leave it there as you drive to make sure you remember.
andrewcollins 8
Maybe you could've gone back and got them and been a little late to the concert.
